...and that's a wrap on #EGAP32 🎉 We are grateful to everyone who joined us @novafrica.bsky.social over the last three days! And a huge thank you Pedro Vicente and the Nova team for hosting and ensuring everything ran so smoothly. Until next time! 👋

In our final #EGAP32 session, our new Methods Working Group led a conversation about future directions for EGAP's methodological focus. Thank you to everyone who shared ideas about how to build constructive collaborations, link theory and empirics and contribute to evidence-based policy decisions.

…and we are back for day two of #EGAP32 @novafrica.bsky.social! We are excited to continue digging deep into #experimentalresearch on innovative evidence based policy in the area of #conflict and beyond.

Today we discussed six amazing projects🌟 Topics ranged from the effects of mediation on violence & social cohesion to a collaborative effort to bridge the gap between policy-relevant academic research & public engagement through media. We look forward to another full day tomorrow of #EGAP32!

In our first plenary today we heard from some of EGAP's institutional members. They described the work they are doing on the ground, how research collaborations can support their aims, and some of the constraints and limitations they face moving #experimentalresearch forward.

It’s Day One of #EGAP32 @novafrica.bsky.social! We are looking forward to two full days of exchanging ideas and connecting over #experimentalresearch on the theme of #conflict and more. First, we will hear from practitioners about their work and experiences partnering with research teams.
