Trump announces "fraud whistleblower incentive program" -- "Americans will now be able to go to fraud dot gov and report cases of corruption and theft of taxpayer dollars in their communities ... if you turn somebody in and you find $1 billion, we're giving a commission of 1%. That's a lot of money"

I honestly don’t know much about El-Sayed, but this is a perfect answer from him. It’s also hilarious that Tommy used to work for Josh Hawley and was paid 250k for influencer marketing AGAINST El-Sayed. They might want to get a refund. What a spectacular backfire. The walk of shame at the end. 🤣
This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Trump Pay-to-Play: An inventory. "A list obtained by WaPo reveals all the major donors to Trump’s White House ballroom project.... Tech giants Nvidia and Apple each committed $25mn.... Absent from the list is Trump himself, who has said that he is helping to pay for the project, but of course isn't"

A month later, NYT decides it will tell us the story of the Houthi military maneuvers that shocked Saudi Arabia (and that the NYT basically missed at the time). This is well done. But it's more an exercise in history than journalism. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Of all the lies he's told, the ones about 9/11 are the most egregious. He wasn't down there AT ALL. Remember that reporter whose disability he mocked? His beef with that reporter was that he had investigated Trump's claim about "thousands" of Muslims cheering as the towers fell and proved it false.

Good article, just out, from the Times. Mentions the public as a thermostat + cyclical nature of party ID. (Stops short of saying the current environment was easy to predict, though that’s true & some of us did!). Covered this on the podcast on Thurs: www.gelliottmorris.com/p/donald-tru...

“U.S. military stockpiles of key weapons have been severely depleted, including Patriot and other air-defense platforms, as well as sophisticated offensive weapons like Tomahawk cruise missiles… …the U.S. has also lost roughly a quarter of its Reaper drones”
Exclusive: CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s trip to Moscow was preceded by fresh U.S. intelligence indicating that the Kremlin sees the U.S. as weakened by the Iran war, offering Russia an opportunity to escalate action against American interests in Europe.

Honestly, who cares what MAGA does? They’re like 30% (maybe) of the country, and half of them are pissed off at him for Iran, Israel, or some other reason. We have to quit thinking about what those deranged mouthbreathing rubes are going to do or not do - they’re irrelevant.
