Trump admits to stealing hundreds of billions of dollars from *another* country.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "You know how much money we're taking out of Venezuela? Hundreds of billions of dollars we're taking out of Venezuela"

What a disappointment. Eagerly waited for new Apple streaming box (Apple TV 4k). Now released with no new meaningful updates other than more powerful chip but with $299 price tag. Staying with older 2022 box which works perfectly.

This headline in the Wall Street Journal is exactly what Republicans feared as we head into mid-terms: "Broad Pickup in Prices Lifts Inflation to 3.7% in September" Bad news for consumers, bad news for GOP.

Now that Trump has entered into a faustian deal with Putin, its time for anyone left in the administration with honor to resign in protest. GOP Senators/House members who don't respond negatively, vocally and by Congressional action, should now be branded as traitorous as Trump. May he burn in hell.

Just received an email from my Congressman, Mark Harris (NC CD 8), stating “Harris Calls on WNBA to Define Woman as Biological Female, Establish Clear Eligibility Standards”. Nothing about the war, prices or a failing President. No wonder the GOP will lose the House.

To all the people whining about any commentary on Natalie Harp: We’re paying her $150,000 salary. Trump isn’t. Perfectly legitimate to ask what job serving the public she’s doing.

Some nutty stuff in @maggieNYT @jonathanvswan book on Trump's failed effort to end Ukraine war, including Witkoff returning from Kremlin w/signed Putin doodle memorializing the "3+2" land for peace deal they wanted to force on Kyiv. Witkoff, touting "personal chemistry" with Putin, framed it.

It’s telling that when Hassett was asked about the spike in delinquent credit card balances, he talked about the potential harm to credit card companies, not people.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

BREAM: The Journal says percentage of delinquent credit card balances is 13%, the highest in 15 years. People are using them for necessities. Your message to them? HASSETT: We talk to CEOs of the credit card companies all the time, and there's not any threat to them. People are taking a bit longer.

Trump did not reach a settlement with the government. There was no case to settle. He has not created a slush fund. He has colluded with Todd Blanche to steal money from the US Treasury. This is not a “deal.” This is a crime for which Trump & Blanche must be prosecuted. It ia a crime.

Has there ever been a more embarrassing presidential trip than Trump in China? Talking about Chinese food, conflicts between Secret Service and Chinese security, Trump GUSHING about dictators…truly humiliating.

I mean every word I’m about to say: Donald Trump is the dumbest president ever to sit at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. His administration is the most corrupt in American history.

@consumerreports.org I am a lifetime CR member who has subscribed to Consumer Reports since at least the 1960’s. Your 90th anniversary issue is the largest, most comprehensive and informative issue yet. Congratulations. No one else can meet your standards for integrity, honesty and impartiality.

Orban showing more class and more respect for democracy than Trump did in 2020.

Joshua Holland@joshuaholland.bsky.social

Orban conceded. Tisza on course for 2/3 majority with 72% votes counted. A good day for democracy. www.theguardian.com/world/live/2...

Peter Magyar’s party has soundly defeated Viktor Orban in today’s election. Congrats to the Hungarian people for vanquishing a corrupt Putin puppet, and rejecting Trump, Vance and Rubio’s desperate and foolish attempt to tamper in your democracy.

I have never ever used profanity or an expletive before but here goes: If Trump goes forth with his genocidal threat, every fucking elected Republican will be complicit for not stopping a deranged sick man from destroying the U.S. as well as Iran.

Basically Trump decided to cause chaos, mayhem, death, destruction, disruption, dissension, depletion of resources, & decades of hatred and mistrust from friends and foe in the Middle East and beyond, then walk away while telling the world he expects them to clean up his mess.

So Trump has eased sanctions on *both* Russia and Iran. Putting money in the hands of two countries currently busy killing US Troops. If that isn't treason, I don't know what is.

Trump is having a complete meltdown. Proof that the war has not yet been won, the allies he tried to extort with his tariff aren’t coming to his recuse and he can’t find an off-ramp. This time he has no Fred Trump or Roy Cohn to rescue him.

An absolute psycho

Trump launches a war against Iran, Russia then sides with Iran and helps Iran locate & kill American service members, Trump then rewards Russia by lifting sanctions on Russian oil. Tell me again Trump doesn’t work for Putin. Tell me again Trump isn’t a traitor to America.
