Please vote for Kotek. I am. As someone who lived in Florida for many years, I've seen exactly what happens when the Drazans of this world get elected. Enormous amount of harm inflicted.

LOOK AT THIS SHIT THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER I LOVE HUMANITY I LOVE ART

I promise I am not trying to be hyperbolic and this is my genuine reaction having just got out: That is the best film of 2026, the single most technically beautiful and artistically inspiring film I've ever seen, and one of the best fantasy stories in any medium. My god, what an achievement

It's leaving theaters in most locations on Thursday, so don't snooze. Get to the big screen while you still can.

Just saw Wildwood. One of the most heartbreakingly beautiful movies I’ve seen in years. The story would shine on its own, but in combination with the breathtaking hand animation it is truly a masterpiece.

UPDATE: Looks like it's been extended to Nov 5th in most areas now! This Fathom distro deal is a real rollercoaster. 😵‍💫

He's an extremely minor character (one scene) but they sometimes let us go house on R&D so we have some tricks up our sleeves for the future. There's a fuller explanation in the image alt text

Here’s how I would put it: A bad box office will not have us shut down the studio BUT It does make it harder for us to get onto screens in the future. Theater owners want and/or need that money and we need to earn their trust. ALSO It does help keep more of my friends employed

Lotta talk about the big fight scene (rightly so) but for me it's still the quiet stuff

So there were giant birds and all kinds of beasts and cool stuff but I think when this shot landed was when we knew we were leveling up. A stop motion puppet subtly, nervously moving their toes.

After the first round elections, Congressman André Janones created a WhatsApp channel titled “Lula’s Army.” It ballooned to 10 million people following his commands on how to behave online to counteract Meta’s far-right-favouring algorithms. The right knows how to use socials. We must learn, too.

China’s first AI-generated theatrical feature has flopped, earning just $181,000 in its first weekend. By contrast, the scrappy ‘Niu Lai’ turned its crude animation into a viral attraction, grossing nearly $10 million a couple of months ago. www.cartoonbrew.com/box-office-r...

My favorite part of the weekend was watching our movie in a theater and hearing the audience collectively gasp. Haven’t heard that in a long while

Keep in mind we have the following factors against us: Not a sequel. No characters with blue skin. Characters speak in complete sentences. Not a single Spider-man. Animated but not anime. Godzilla only a secondary non-speaking character.
