Been working on a little something on and off for over a year. It allows remote control over one's VRC experience. Thanks to executive dysfunction, there's still loads left to do, but getting this finally hooked into VRChat is a MASSIVE milestone! #vrchat #vrchatnsfw #spicyvrc #nsfw #osc #openshock

There's no way to remotely control anything yet, only locally through the program. Again, lots to do. I need server and web code to make this work still, but that's basically the next step from here!

Just tried Bazzite on a spare NVMe on my main rig. Standard desktop and most gaming is already very solid! But VRChat, through no fault of its own, still has a ways to go. SteamVR miraculously detected my BSB, controllers, and Tundras (through an old SW4 dongle). But Room Setup and reprojection 1/2

Were both very borked. Room Setup could be run by basically launching Steam inside a virtual downgraded Fedora/mesa version to get through it, and switching back to normal after. But reprojection is so broken you see afterimages of everything if you get below 45fps. Almost there, but not enough. 2/2

A lot of C++/OpenGL code (a language I hadn't yet learned) I've been writing lately has been suspiciously easy to either get right the first time or fix quickly. My first meaningful program had exactly 2 bugs in it, and neither of them were crashes.
