Also this. I tell this to every student and interested person, ask and I'll send you a PDF if it's not already linked on my website. I had friends who died for this. If you're paying for anything academic I've written I'm gonna be mad at you.

If you don't I swear to god I'm going to cuck-code a replacement and bring back the terrifying tanuki logo.

I keep thinking Im just going to write an essay like a normal person but nooo… for next month I built a story about a possible cyborg future around a Logo interpreter.

What if we didn't accept any of this as normal and just imprisoned every tech bro and billionaire and dissolved every private equity fund and used all the money to provide unlimited housing and food and energy for everyone?

The kiddo often stress-tests their school laptop for fun. I was delighted when they asked me “Ok so September 1, 275760 works but October freezes the machine and December says NaN… what is so special about 275760?” We both had fun with that adventure.

I know you think you’re so cool with your new Frames but have you considered a Telejector?

President Trump and the Republicans had a two year romp through every political fantasy nourished in their heart since The John Birch Society and Richard Nixon, and you know what: it turns out their ideas were bad and are tanking the economy.

Also we did a much less aggressive version right here in MA with a terrible consequence: better infrastructure and every kid in school gets food. Things can get better if we want. Healthcare and food and shelter for everyone, actually. It’s possible and practical. fortune.com/2025/10/21/z...

I was reading the NYT rogue AI thing today - what struck me was things they described as “rogue” are only that if you accept there’s intelligence behind them. There is no particular difference to a computer between the Pokédex and the state department database, especially if they both have APIs.

I’m starting to suspect most people involved in this boondoggle really *are* clinical psychopaths.

This alone isn’t that interesting, the whole industry and much of SciFi is predicated on this misdirection of responsibility to the sUPeRINtELLiGenCe but here’s what freaked me out:

It’s not that AI products are immoral - they possess nothing. No self and no intelligence from which to consider morality and no timeframe with which to consider consequence.

I posted my entry for this earlier, but once-again-with-context! Identity for me is a shifting collection of memories and songs, a story we tell and retell into existence, the metaphors we carry to understand the world. Branching narrative in a glitchy storage box: bsky.app/profile/foxr...
