Seating a new congress is interesting because the house session ends and basically every current member is stripped of their status at noon January 3. Johnson is no longer speaker etc. So not sure how you can block it outside an actual coup

I agree that the danger point is the seating of the new congress, but if this is the caliber of legal argument we're going to be seeing to support their efforts to overturn the midterms, they are going to have to do it without court backing - yes, even SCOTUS imo
