Used to have to shove these giant 5” discs into a machine to watch what I paid for in broadcast quality, but now I can just press a button to conveniently watch it in random quality and sometimes it’s taken away while I continue paying indefinitely... am I doing this right?

But the complaints about trans characters in Veilguard are not about them being done "badly." You could have the absolutely most perfect most inoffensive rounded off trans narrative in a game and the exact same people would complain. They simply do not want trans people to exist. they are losers.

Just played a tiny bit of the Rustmourne VR demo. I LOVE this style of old industrial looking space ships/stations that can be endlessly explored. With grimy mechanical systems, animated machinery, weird lighting, and signage with vague messages.

I don't think $30k is a life-changing amount of money. Median American born in 1980 will have $2m in income in their lifetime. It's a 1% increase in earnings.

The VR-MMORPG OrbusVR had already shut down before I was even introduced to VR. But it just got resurrected! I got to play another one for a short time before it shut down too. But it was great. Feels so good to be back in this. Especially after not playing anything for a period.

Regardless of the state of VR; it comes across as so bizarre to me that, even to this day, people go out of their way to tell everyone that VR is niche and/or not the future. Die on your hill already and move on 😂

Woohoo! CircuitLord VR Mod for Titanfall 2 is WORKING ON MY COMPUTER!!! This game will be my official start into PCVR gaming! Still working on getting No Man's Sky to run smoothly.

Been trying to set up a dedicated router for PCVR and the wall I've run into is the ethernet port driver on my laptop. It's capping at 100mbps and nothing I try will change this. Alienware M17 R1 Killer E2500 gigabit Ethernet controller Driver version 9.0.0.42 Date: 4/26/2015

I've tried updating the driver in all kinds of ways without any error messages, yet the driver remains the same. I've tried everything in F4CEpa1m's YT video series. The TP-Link AXE75 router i just bought as the dedicated router is brand new. Ethernet cable is CAT6. Speed & Duplex: Auto Negotiate

Y'ALL After years of giving up I finally got PCVR working for my Quest 3 without Horizon Link! I am now a member of the NO MAN'S SKY VR club!!! So, this is my first time playing this game. I've still got a lot of tinkering to do to make it look better and run smoother.

Any advice for my low-end setup is welcomed because my gaming laptop isn't that great and my 5G router is unfortunately in another room. I'm using Steam Link. So far the best I could get it at is with the game set on Standard and in SteamVR the per-game resolution is at 80.

Two things in already aware of is Virtual Desktop and the deducted router thing. Those aren't going to happen for now. Mostly looking for advice on settings for what I'm using now.
