My friends on Discord are cool and all but... idk. They all sort of gotten boring at this point. We really need some fresh blood on the server. like someone from the moon maybe? someone that's a gorilla & likes peanutbutter, and fucking hates the tales of series.

The ai posters my apartment building kept putting up were getting torn down so often that they gave up and started using clipart instead

NEW: Epic Games has delayed its upcoming (not yet announced) Star Wars + Marvel shooter as it pivots to complete AI game development. "No more hand-written code," a director told staff. All art "generated with full AI workflows." Full scoop: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

hey if you're on this app to escape the hellscape of the former bird app it seems counterintuitive to constantly repost or post in detail about awful stuff from there to over here Now we just have two doomscroll apps, just that this one is seeing the doom through a very thin pane of glass

Wow, I'm so excited for this! None of my friends really care about Madoka Magica, so it looks like I, the #1 Madoka Magica fan, will be going by myself.

guYS With the power of Crack GPS Asstra 6.9, Claus Opoops Slopnet 5.5, I was able to Mod EVERY GAME INTO ONE, I did it all myself with hard work by my typing and coding thanks to AI assistant!!! THE FUTURE IS HERE AND NOW

This is somewhat misleading. This was a survey done by CESA that include companies like Capcom, Sega, & Level-5. 85% of those who answered the survey use Gen AI. NOT 85% of japanese devs.

Knoebel@knoebel.bsky.social

Over 85% of Japanese game developers use generative AI in game development up from 51% last year. 61% say they use it on a daily basis. automaton-media.com/en/news/over...

You’ve gotta use AI because it’s the future. But also it’ll take your job. But also it’ll create a paradise on earth and solve most of our problems. But also it’ll end humanity soon. But also you’ll get left behind if you don’t use it right now.

You've never played a deckbuilder like Shroom and Gloom. You've never played a dungeon crawler like Shroom and Gloom. You've never played anything like Shroom and Gloom. Out September 10.

Hot take, but we're never going back to old YouTube due to grifters & dramatubers taking up the space. It always had problems before, but it wasn't until 2016 that it got REALLY bad. (🧵)

I understand why there’s lots of nostalgia for everything in the past, but when I see stuff like this I just want there to be some reckoning with the fact that pewdiepie, an undeniably very shrill and annoying online presence, was the most popular YouTuber for so long lol

(This isn't to say that YouTube is completely innocent in this, as this could've been avoided if they actually moderated their platform and enforced bans, but often times, I think we forget that the problem started with the content creators who participate in this.)

I think it's better now as viewers have actual tools to edit their algorithm, but the fact that these channels are still allowed on YouTube to be monetized is a problem in of itself, and we're not going back to "old" YouTube ever again.

Drama videos left and right. YouTubers outwardly saying slurs like it's a normal thing to do. Harassment campaigns & bullying others for not being "edgy". The problem didn't start in 2016, but it reached a fever pitch, and can be traced back to both dramatubers & grifters.

A lot of people point fingers at YouTube for the first adpocalypse in early 2017, but, regardless of what you think about the corporations that rescinded their ads, it was majorly the fault of content creators making explotative content.
