New Version available for @altstream.online websocket bridge, uploaded to ko-fi for free. This version runs on c# code instead of java, I rewrote it for ease of use hopefully. The appimage for linux is uploaded for testing. I am working on getting the windows build of 0.0.4 working. Enjoy!

I am in the process of redeveloping my altstream in c# to make it more efficient and user friendly hopefully. Didn’t have much time this weekend to work on it but Monday I should be able to continue my efforts. In the meantime the java version still should work.

A user of altstream posted about using AI to mangle something approximating music together. I would think it doesn't need to be said but our platform is a strictly no genAI space. If you promote it's use, you will be removed. It's that simple.

The alpha for my @altstream.online websocket bridge is available for free on ko-fi. All it requires is java to be installed. There is both a linux and windows version. This allows you to send messages from an #altstream account via websockets. I send websocket messages with #vnyan for my bot.

I am working on a thing to use with @altstream.online I am using it with #vnyan and websockets, but you should be able to also use it with streamer bot and websockets. This will allow your bot to send messages in altstream chat for redeems and such. I should be able to share hopefully tomorrow

#VNyan 1.7.3b hotfix adds AltStream Tips-node. You can use that if you have Ko-fi webhooks connected to your AltStream account~ Also fixes couple issues with AltStream Shoutout-node

@altstream.online has rekindled a bit of my interest in programming again I spent all day working in java building a web socket tool that works with selenium web automation to type messages into Alt stream with #vnyan nodes It works! Now just cleaning it up so maybe I can release it no AI needed!

Since @altstream.online supports memberships on ko-fi now, I have added memberships ko-fi.com/erisabyss/ti... I have closed the one membership option on my discord in favor of ko-fi. It provides the same benefits on the discord(minus emotes I guess) but now will provide benefits on altstream too

I can imagine a future where your profile on @altstream.online is able to show your latest bsky posts and your latest YouTube video posts. A place for people to go see what’s going on with you and what you’re making even offline. Then, no vod storage, no problem. People just check out your videos

Alt stream was honestly refreshing. Feels a bit like the vstream days. I had more interesting conversations with chat on alt stream than I have had on twitch in a long while. Nothing against my minions on twitch, but they are usually pretty quiet after saying hi.

Just another reason I am glad I migrated to blacksky.community I have a blacksky app on my phone, and it’s basically separate from bsky other than that it uses ATPROTO. I can’t leave entirely lest I become ignorant to goings on in the world but at least this way I am not using bsky directly

It’s a shame how timezones work. Being in the EU means missing peak bsky hours. Maybe universal global time is an option in the farther future.
