In the rush to build data centers, companies are starting to use their own off grid gas generators. This results in much higher emissions – 60% to 80% – compared with using their local electricity grid and risks locking in longer-term fossil dependence. www.theclimatebrink....
Oh, the "genius" who will give every child in the USA one SpaceX share. Is this happening while killing others in the world?!
There is an emerging need to educate people before voting. Citizens' Assemblies, non-partisan voter summaries, and policy-first decision tools can help citizens engage with policy choices rather than simply telling them what to think. ⚠️
Rising health care costs are weighing on Americans ahead of the midterms. For Cindy Banda, a Texas mother who voted for Trump three times, breast cancer bills reshaped her life and her politics.
There is really a disconnect between what people say they want and how they vote. 😖⚠️

Great discussion with Olya Irzak on just how high the methane leakage may be from off-grid data centers powered by low-efficiency reciprocating gas engines. Another reason to ensure that if data centers are built, they are on the grid!

Heartbreaking news 😢 My thoughts are with anyone affected by tragedy.🙏❤️
That's why Democrats keep losing elections while independents grow increasingly frustrated with both major parties. Why visit 🇨🇦, & specifically Alberta, at such a critical moment? Doesn't this constitute interference? Plus, you're employing the same divisive "diplomacy" tactics as MAGA politicians😡
I just returned from my first CODEL to Canada, where I advocated for my California constituents suffering from the president’s tariff wars with our Northern neighbor. Canadians have been among our closest allies, fighting side-by-side in both world wars and innumerable other conflicts.
