Infantino a total disgrace and a stain on the sport from beginning to end. Soured this whole tournament

And here she is, adding a few $$$$$ to her account (and Ed Sheeran's). All pre-recorded of course.

As we brace ourselves for the sacrilege of a WC final half-time show, a reminder that Shakira (and her co-writer Ed Sheeran among others) stand to make a lot of money from their "anthem", despite assurances that "all proceeds" would go to charity.

It’s really mental how every football commentator seems to have never seen Haaland play football before. Lads, he largely does fuck all, then scores quite a few goals. There is quite a large body of evidence to back this up. No need to sound surprised that he’s barely touched the ball.

As the awful Shakira teases her awful new World Cup anthem, a reminder than we still don't know what happened to the millions her "Waka Waka" ("borrowed" from a Cameroonian band) was supposed to make for charity. Well, we do, She got a very large part of them.

josimarfootball.comLive raid - josimarfootball.comThe 2010 Fifa World Cup official anthem "Waka Waka" was meant to raise a fortune for African charities, but no money has been forthcoming since 2014. Josimar can tell where some of the missing million...

This is the first technically brilliant piece of comedy I’ve ever seen this fraudulent toxic buffoon do. Nigel Tufnel good. A masterclass. Also: props to the team in the production booth who take his casual diss and then double down on making the joke work harder, using vision mixing.

Did you see this headline? Did you feel the requisite anger and rage at asylum seekers that The Sun was asking of you? Did you maybe blame Starmer because.... um... it was probably his fault🤷‍♀️ Would you like to know the reality behind the headline? Course you would!😜 Let's take a look 🧵 1/25

Really hate headlines like this. Is this news item also what is driving gains in the CAC40 and the DAX this morning?

It's like someone doing an impression of Tom Waits doing an impression of The Beatles.

Merry Christmas! Please enjoy the opening to this Japanese Christmas concert special that I watch every year. As far as I can tell, this has otherwise been scrubbed from the internet

It's quite mad to live in a world where you come across something and think 'That's the worst thing I've ever seen.' Until tomorrow, when a new thing is worse than the last thing. Every. Day.

The Washington Post is launching a personalized AI podcast, saying users will be able to "shape their own briefing, select their topics, set their lengths, pick their hosts and soon even ask questions using our Ask The Post AI technology."

Not only is it a shame there is so little international rugby on free to sit TV, it's a massive shame it's on TNT with this commentary team. Absymal, one-eyed crap.

I can't quite put my finger on which hypocrisy is greater here, but perhaps James would have had the opportunity to ask him about it had he not been banned from attending Reform's "free speech" conference.

“We will police the streets and not the tweets and change all that damaging legislation,” says Nigel Farage on stage at Reform – just after welcoming the minister responsible for passing the Online Safety Act onto the stage with him, and into his party.

For anyone travelling to Salford for #RWC2025 today. The shuttle bus is taking much longer than advertised. Road very busy. Leave early.
