Delighted for Harry Kane! A triumph for the hard-working, modest, team player and family man. The best footballer in the world is ruthlessly brilliant and creative, but he’s also the model professional

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Thanks to everyone who braved the storms to catch Ghosts this weekend. You’ve officially made it the number one movie in the UK!

In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.

MIGHTY, MIGHTY TOTTENHAM!! Huge win, overturning decades of inherited pressure — we played smart, brave, energetic football and dominated against a supposedly stronger team. Bloody brilliant! Hopefully Madders will be back soon #COYS

Ghosts: The Possession of Button House is wonderful! Ghosts is the best comedy since Blackadder, and this film is a worthy coda to a perfect sitcom.

Spurs somewhat blunt up front, and a few too many risks taken at the back, but this is much better - crisp and quick passing, Tel a good outlet, and Robertson a hard-running option. Need more from Kudus, and Madders would be useful closer to Marmoush #COYS

After 7 weeks, I’m happy to report my concussion symptoms, headaches and jaw pain — caused by a football in the face — seem to have healed. Sadly, my general level of incompetence remains unchanged

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

I saw the new Ghosts movie last night, and it’s a total triumph — a gorgeous, funny, kind family movie with just the right amount of of spooky for Halloween half-term. You’re gonna love it!
