NEW: As Trump’s White House and influencers keep touting the unproven benefits of raw milk, hundreds across the country are falling ill from outbreaks. Some people get severe indigestion. And some nearly die. Here's the story of one toddler who drank it. 🧵👇 www.propublica.org/article/cali...

propublica.orgA Girl Nearly Died After Drinking Raw Milk. The State Did Little to Punish the Unlicensed Farmer Who Sold It.California is teeming with black-market dairies, propped up by consumer demand fueled by misinformation. With evidence against one raw goat milk farm, regulators could have sought punitive action. But...

So I got the mRNA flu shot yesterday. As my history with flu shot side effects has never been more than a sore arm, I assumed “more severe” might be that “think I’m coming down with something” feeling. Nope. Fever. Chills. Headache. All that. It got better after I gave in and took ibuprofen.

I’m quoted about who should be most concerned about measles. Infants under 12 months, too young for the 1st MMR dose (can get early at 6 mos). 2 of Pennsylvania's four deaths were infants. And measles erases immunity already acquired, so the harm outlasts the rash. www.prevention.com/health/a7377...

Maybe you think I'm off my rocker, baby I do not care. When people BELIEVE it is "waste, fraud, and abuse" to support other people, to prevent loss of life, to stop harm and disease, it's because they don't see value in those lives. They said it's "wasteful" because they BELIEVE it is wasteful.

Why should you care if childhood vaccination rates are dropping in your community? 1. All kids deserve to be protected from vaccine-preventable disease. 2. There are people who can’t be vaccinated, such as babies who are too young. If everyone around them is vaccinated, they’re protected.

Texas AG Ken Paxton (R, shitbird) has just launched an investigation into the American Academy of Pediatrics because: “Parents deserve vaccine recommendations that are driven by science and the best interests of their children, not by financial gains or bribes from Big Pharma”. They already are.

I'll summarize this: Mamdani asked NYers to keep air conditioning at 78 degrees. A wave criticism hit online. A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure. Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.

One hallmark of authoritarian regimes is weaponization of the government to persecute perceived political enemies.

The DOJ has just indicted an advisor to Dr. Fauci for “conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations”. This is a witch hunt, plain and simple. They will never forgive Fauci for making them look like the fools that they are.
