Nintendo keeps making these games (Tomodachi Life, AC New Horizons) that they want you to play long-term like life sims, but then they don't actually give you anything to chew on. Villagers are lifeless dolls, there's like 4 cutscenes in the new Tomodachi Life. I just wish they were more expressive.

I feel like by opening up customization in these games Nintendo kind of pushed the onus of fun onto the player. The sandbox became the thing to enjoy as opposed to actually engaging with the game's social mechanics, but there's just no longevity in that. It's kinda depressing.

Breakfast food is delicious, but I actually believe that breakfast is far and away the worst meal of the day, leaves you feeling like shit, and is a lie sold to us by Big Milk and John Cereal. Lunch sucks too but it's less systemic.
