Before anything else is said about Shinzon ch'Vraek one thing must be clear: he was Havrannsu, as Reman as any miner or soldier or rock farmer to ever come out of the sister-world. Chapter 8 is now live!

Such naked horse-trading was not part of the public view of Archer in the 2180s, but that was a delicately crafted illusion. So Archer returned to his earlier political proclivities and backed a winner. Ch. 16: To Run Again, Run Again, Run Again, etc. is up now. nascentnovice.com/the-last-fou...

Dodging censur and assasination attempts alike, the destruction of the Starfleet evacuation fleet on mars also led to the collapse of her Praetorship: she would lose a vote of no confidence onyl weeks after the Federation council decided to abandon the Romulans.

Retiring from the senate she would spend most of the next decades in exile, caring for her sick wife and dodging assassins. Settling on Mol'Rihan in 2414 she would decline to stand for office but her reputation as an elder stateswoman would make her an influential figure in the early Fourth Republic

As senator she was instrumental in pulling the outmarcher coalition away from the incumbent Praetor Tal'Aura t’Kratok, leading to the laters ouster and Kamemor's rise to praetorship. She would begin to deal with regional military commanders empowered by Shinzon and Tal'Aura.

However she would soon be called to deal with the greatest disaster in the empire's history: the Hobus supernova. Kamemor would the controversial decision to commit to the evacuation of the hearthworlds as well as the unprecedented cooperation with the Federation to do so

Kamemor was an outmarcher from Glintara who rose through the ranks of the Second Empire's diplomatic corps (including part of the delegation to the Khitomer conferences) and was the last person to hold the ambassadorship to Earth before the Romulans post-Tomed isolation, replacing Cai’th’lin t’Dar

From The Ashes@fallofromulus.bsky.social

Cai’th’lin t’Dar was a Romulan diplomat famous for her involvement in the Nimbus III incident of 2287, the Khitomer conferences in the 2290s and as the penultimate Romulan ambassador to Earth before the Tomed incident and subsequent Romulan isolation in 2315.

Having retired from the senate after the death of her son during the war against the Llaetus’le, she returned to her homeworld to head a local academy. The death of her homeworld's senator Xarian t’Ortikant (a distant cousin) led to her standing again for election.

While the conference would be a diplomatic triumph for the Romulans, securing economic support and basing rights for the fleet (and tweaking the nose of chancellor Gowron in the process) it also committed them to the allies “Cardassia First” policy, which would cause massive fleet losses

The Deneva conference was the first meeting of the “Big Three” of the alliance, held only a few months after the Romulan entry into the war. Prior to it the Star Navy’s 7th and 9th Expeditionary Fleet Groups had launched an offensive to liberate the planet Benzar from Dominion occupation

At the conference Praetor Neral presented President Min Zife with a trophy, a piece of hull from a Jem’Hadar attack ship fused into rock from the planets Third Moon, decorated with Benzite, Romulan and Federation Emblems.
