I found some old bead artworks in an old drawer today. Young me would be really excited to know that their creations are on the internet for everyone to see 😅 theres.life/@fancyfinn9/...

random, but how cool is it that the original code for the Apollo 11 Guidance Computer is #opensource on GitHub? sometimes we focus so much on the issues at hand that we forget about the bigger picture, and damn this is so cool - #oss is truly the best 🤩 github.com/chrislgarry...

@openvibe.social I don't know what you did, but the last update was EPIC. Custom emojis for Mastodon? Check. Great video support? Check. Somehow reduced the timeline load time on my potato phone from 3 minutes to 5 seconds? Check! Best Fediverse client, hands down. (Well, if only it was FOSS... 😁)

On Friday I'll be streaming some Luanti development! Pop over to my streaming channels at 5pm UTC and join me as I work on JMA Minetest, the server network at which I'm a core developer. www.youtube.com/@fancyfinn9 www.twitch.tv/fancyfinn9

I'm working on an arrangement for my orchestra, of one of my favourite brass band pieces. I am interested in feedback so I've uploaded the opening for everyone to view: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3_8... Let me know what y'all think!

Just uploaded my arrangement of the #SquadBusters main theme! I had a blast making the arrangement and editing the video and thumbnail, hope you guys like it too! Feedback is highly appreciated, I'd love to hear what y'all think :) youtu.be/r0kTVVRVbgU

Being bored and with only a bad laptop at my disposal (my PC is out of order atm), I've been working on instrumentalized arrangements of the Squad Busters OST. It's been a nice challenge to work on it so far, I might publish some of my arrangements later. #music #squadbusters

The Pokémon that runs this account (I may or may not be using this as an excuse to share one of my favorite cards ;))

On Thursday night I had the pleasure of attending a performance by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra in the National Concert Hall. It was a great night that featured four of Mozart's pieces, with the spotlight being on his Clarinet concerto! Read more: (thanks bsky char limit) theres.life/@fancyfinn9/...

Despite all the hate it's getting nowadays, Duolingo is a great platform to start learning a language on. I started learning Italian back during Covid, but have since moved on to Russian. I don't plan to move elsewhere until I reach a higher level that doesn't just require repetition. #duolingo

One of our projects, Ruins of Alph Research, is seeking lost information and media from Pokémon's past, along with information that isn't well documented. If you attended an official Pokémon event, own rare merchandise, or ran a fan page we haven't covered, contact us ruinsofalphresearch@gmail.com

If you're following me on Mastodon, I recently switched to a new instance. My new username: @fancyfinn9@theres.life I'll be updating my website, profiles, etc to reflect this change very soon, once I get around to doing it.

Alright Duolingo, where did my Streak Society app icon go?? Its completely gone from the rewards. #duolingo

We've got "A Minecraft movie", so when's "A Minetest movie" coming out? 😅 @Luanti

I need to start posting daily here on the open social web. Someone remind me if I forget any day lol

pikachu’s mighty roar

Gosh, it's been that long?! Unknowingly, I celebrated my Duoversary today by doing my first proper lesson of Russian on Duolingo, after a few weeks of learning the Cyrillic alphabet. Hooray! It would've been great if you wouldn't've messed up my progress in Italian, Duo, haha #duolingo

Hey @openvibe.social , do you have an ETA for custom Mastodon emojis in the app?

We have an exclusive image of Pokémon ZA running on Switch 2!

@doctorfunfrock.bsky.social Hey man 👋 I'm a huge fan of your game Dungeons of Dreadrock, and I've recently finished my first full playthrough. I was wondering when/if you plan to release the second installment on mobile devices? It would be awesome to be able to play on the go :) Many thanks!

Have you tried Openvibe 1.3.8 yet? Now, with Bluesky video support and much more 🦋 Connect with friends across the open social web — Mastodon, Bluesky, and Nostr — all in one app 🐙

Yeah, I can't tell you how much I love @openvibe.bsky.social especially being able to have my Bluesky, my Mastodon (federated Threads accounts), and soon fully integrated Threads All-In-One combined timeline, including cross-posting. Seriously, this app is amazing. Definitely check it out!

I'm telling y'all this app is so GOATED. The fact that I can see all my Bluesky posts, all of my Mastodon posts, which in turn shows me all of my federated threads posts all in one timeline. It's absolutely fantastic. they also added true OLED dark mode. #Openvibe is the BEST

Openvibe v13.4 is here! 🎉 Now with Mastodon lists support, alongside Bluesky lists & feeds, giving you even more control to tailor your timelines just the way you want! 🔥

FINALLY LETS GOO Thanks for the free Evo Supercell! #ClashRoyale

Aight so, I just switched my Bluesky handle to my Github site. If all goes well I should hopefully have it on my own domain by the end of the year (both my site and my handle) 🤞

I think it's hilarious how all them big companies were so proud of themselves for shutting down Fmovies, saying that they were the ringleader of video piracy. Meanwhile there are hundreds of other sites out there that still function the same.

What if you could access the whole Open Social Web, including RSS, in one place? Openvibe is working on it 🐙 Should we make it happen?

Hey @openvibe.bsky.social , would it be possible to make multi-account support, so we could sign into multiple accounts for each protocol? 🤔

Midladder is so cooked with Evo PEKKA and Mega Knight 💀 #ClashRoyale

Oh how much I wish that Pokémon GO would run properly on my phone. Since the graphics overhaul a few months ago my phone cannot handle it, it runs really un-smoothly and lags a lot. And now dynamax are coming out too, including my favourite starter Squirtle, and I'm just like 😭

Exciting news! Openvibe version 1.3.0 is now available! 🎉 We've added tons of handy little improvements to make the experience even better. Update the app and share your thoughts with us! And now, we will dive into the big new features for next update! 🔥

The grind is over 🔥 #Minecraft

Grinding for the MCC cape. This is one I do not want to miss.

It's that time of week again, where I remind you that a new issue of the Johto Times will release tomorrow! If you haven't already done so, please consider subscribing to the newsletter (it's free) to get each new issue direct to your inbox! Thank you johto.substack.com

I've recently been using openvibe as my social client on my phone. It has really neat Mastodon and Bluesky integration, including cross posting. It's not a perfect client yet, as it's features are mainly the post sides of things, less settings, but it's got a lot of potential

I should really post more often here, but it's a bit difficult spreading my attention evenly between Mastodon, Threads and Twitter. They're all almost the same
