Trying to read Dutch when you know English and a decent amount of German is so interesting. I'm almost able to understand it.

If I didn't have so much more reason to pursue French (and if I had the motivation to learn a third language), I'd probably consider trying to learn Dutch just because it seems like it would come naturally at that point

Thinking about how TTYD got a simultaneous Switch and Gamecube soundtrack release on Nintendo Music, probably because the remake also includes the original soundtrack. I hope they'll eventually do that for other games with similar remakes.

As far as the Mario RPGs are concerned, every one of the remakes also included the original soundtracks, so I'll be #sad if any of them get added with only one or the other.

Mostly thinking about this just because the majority of tracks added to NinMusic are games that are still officially accessible, but for some games like Superstar Saga, only the original version is and not the remake... so would that game's soundtrack be added based on that?

It's crazy how strongly my opinion on OoT's remake flipped. It's funny that I'm actually, fully, excitedly looking forward to it when first impressions had me feeling so meh.

Playing the troll levels that were made for the race at SGDQ 2024 again and this shit had me laughing my ass off

Just remembered that air is an actual thing full of other little things we're breathing in and out and now I'm aware of both the presence of air and the fact that I'm breathing Help

Huh, auto-flagged. Oh well, makes sense I guess. Just in case, CW// light bondage.

I wanna preface this by saying I'm not a Chess player, so there's probably a reason things are this way that I just can't understand, but... The concept of stalemating when you've got your opponent caged is so funny to me, man.

--rather than at the point where the king is actually taken out. But all that leading to stalemates being possible is silly because imagine you're fully surrounded by your enemies and declare it a tie. What?

At the same time, I can at least understand that the end goal of Chess is to properly set up a way that the king is guaranteed taken on the next move, so allowing the king to move into check would fundamentally change the game. Still, just seems silly that this happens because of how the game ends.

Your opponent can't make any moves without putting themselves in check, and so therefore you... both lose. Huh?? The funny thing is, this is only a stalemate because purposefully putting your own king in check is considered an illegal move, which also only exists because the game ends at checkmate--

Thinking back to my first semester of university and how I had a class all about getting your life together (I guess), and one of the first and most important lessons they tried to teach was having a schedule to plan every day out, maybe even by the hour if necessary. Uhh... LMAO

It probably ain't bad advice, but I can't even get plans to work by the day sometimes. By the hour?? Phew, not when you have any people around you whose daily life is entangled with yours.

Just spent the past 5-10 minutes lying in bed, watching what I thought was a spider building a web. Just got up and looked closer, it's a piece of fuzz moving around from the air.

If Nintendo wanted to strike doom and gloom into the hearts of Mario vs. Donkey Kong fans, they could make yet another game like Mini-Land Mayhem but this time for mobile
