I've reached the last page of chapters for the One Piece manga! The current chapter is literally within sight!... with some scrolling. I'm confident I can catch up before a new page is added.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Go to your camera roll and search "boat" and then post a picture of a boat you like I live far far away from any boatable bodies of water so I didn't expect any results. BUT, having a 3D printer, I have printed Benchy. Other photos were Bowser's airship & a boat hanging from a restaurant ceiling.

One Piece spoiler for Elbaph/Elbaf arc: ...the human who had a child with a giantess is called the Mountain-Eater??? That's... um, quite descriptive.

Watched Arlo the Alligator Boy and LOVED it! Great story, great music, lively art style. Really nice story of found family and being yourself. Watched a few eps of the I Heart Arlo series right after, but I think I should've put some space between it and the movie, let them be their own things.

I Heart Arlo was fun, though it's more of a life-lesson-a-day sort of show, which isn't a genre I care much for. "Be The Turtle" was really good though. As a kid I didn't see any shows written specifically to kids with ADHD like that episode, which makes sense because it wasn't well-known back then.

It never makes sense in-world for fast travel points to be locked if you haven't visited them before. It's like not being able to take a bus because you've never been to the next bus stop. #openworld #gaming

There's also no real-world equivalent of save points. Best in-world explanation I can think of is either a body/soul backup or a time travel fast travel point. Real-world, maybe an ATM for putting away money or a restaurant to restore energy.

This is just a creative exercise, trying to make game concepts realistic. Some say you should suspend your disbelief, I say it's fun to come up with creative explanations for these things. Items on ground that form a path? Others travelled that way & dropped them.

The Egghead arc is lore drop after lore drop! I keep doubting we’re getting near the end with how many decades it’s been 5 years away, but Oda does seem to be wrapping things up.

I've reached the end!... of the Wano arc. 137 chapters left, plus however many release in the meantime, before I'm caught up on One Piece. 88% there!

I did it! I FINALLY reached the One Piece chapter that introduces Gear 5 Luffy! I've been seeing too much merchandise spoiling that form. Didn't want to even spoil myself on when to expect it, but this seemed like a likely arc for that. So it was revealed in 2022.

Spoiler for when Gear 5 Luffy appears: Someone once asked Oda what happens if a human eats a human-human fruit and he kinda avoided the question, saying that the person would become... um, more... human. And not be able to swim. Little did we know how much we'd learn about that.

Looked up directions for a place 650 miles away and Google Maps said it would take 236 hours. Thinking it was a glitch, I just closed the tab. Today I looked at it again and it turns out I last set it to walking directions. I don't even remember switching that.

It's always weird when I use a washing machine at an Airbnb or laundromat because they always have all these settings mine doesn't have such as "Delicates" and... "Normal"??? I have "Heavy Duty" and "Permanent Press", that's all. How does mine not have a "NORMAL" setting?

Last week I watched Toy Story 5. Watched Toy Story 4 in 2019. Decided I should re-watch 1 & 2 today. I'd completely forgotten the tire swing and horse toys in 5 were in Toy Story 2! That was weird, remembering that location from the future, such a Doctor Who thing to do.

I still say they should've stopped at Toy Story 3, but I did enjoy 4 & 5, so I expect to enjoy the inevitable Toy Story 6. Will there be a 7? Would they continue it without Tim Allen, Tom Hanks, or Tom's younger sound-alike Jim? Somehow, I think they will.
