It is impossible to ignore. Yet, the ignorance from the top down persists. I can no longer dedicate my labor to moderating a community tied to someone who embraces this ideology, nor can I support a frontman who continuously covers for it.

Despite this well-documented history, Daniel Graves added Joe to the AP lineup in 2019. Ever since, Daniel has actively tried to sanitize Joe’s reputation, turning a blind eye while allowing him to represent the band and interact with the fanbase.

The red flags haven't gone away; they've escalated. From his proximity to the Till Lindemann allegations in 2023, to the content he actively follows and engages with on social media now—MAGA content, "trad wife" and "alpha male" accounts, and Islamophobic rhetoric.

My departure is entirely due to the continued, feigned ignorance surrounding band member Joe Letz. Let's be clear about Joe's history: by 2017, he had been kicked out of three different bands for his blatant misogyny, racism, and homophobia.
