I created this photo using recent research so it relaxes your brain when you pause to look at the details. As I'm sometimes too unwell to post here (not good mental health due to PMDD & recovering from a breakdownA) it would help so much if you could maybe RT my photo. Many thanks 🌿

There are plenty of things you could pull Bryan Johnson up on. There is no need to be deliberately misleading.

Finally, a newsletter I want to sign up to!

If you want to know where the government’s AI scheme will be in five years, have a look at its flagship promise from five years ago. The party in charge is unimportant as they’re all in the pockets of the billionaire class, and once again, they’ll be transferring your taxes to their wealthy mates.

Our electric kettle has begun singing a song of woe when asked to boil water, so I suspect it’ll need replacing soon. I wish I could articulate the trauma of trying to find a serviceable small appliance these days. Most everything is poorly designed and engineered to break after 366 days.

I have an idea for a genetically-modified goldfish that reads tarot cards and makes winning bets on Polymarket. Can I get in on the shit that will never happen for cash scheme, too?

Rescuing pigeons. Three lost, tame birds turned up in our garden in April 2020 and changed my life.

I'll be making my 1st short form video this morning about the 3 ways in which making one of these👇for yourself (doesn't have to be neat) & putting it where you can see it improves your mental health. My confidence has been in overdraft for ~4 yrs so am posting this for accountability-I need to do it

No need to pay to read this article. The reason ‘we’ should ‘let’ people wear the Palestine poppy is because it’s none of our concern what other people wear. The same goes for a red poppy, a white poppy, or no poppy at all. On Remembrance Sunday, let’s honour each other by minding our own business.

eBay users! Don't ignore today's email, even though it looks like a boring standard update to the User Privacy Notice. They want to use your data to train AI models. If you click the link over the words "the right to object", it takes you to a page with a toggle button letting you opt out.

I often wonder how many time travellers are in the audience here, because if it were possible, this would be my first stop.

“Stop Making Sense” premieres 42 years ago today. 🎂 “.. shooting live music is the most purely cinematic thing you can do,” said director Jonathan Demme. “Ideally, the cinema is becoming one with the music. There is little artifice involved. There's no acting. I love it.” [“Slippery People”]

What?? No way.

So I can just make a non-viable prototype, charge $50k for advance orders, put the money into an interest-bearing account for at least two years, and then refund the deposits and keep the interest once it’s clear my dumb product won’t ever exist? Not a bad racket, really.

While in Edinburgh yesterday, I saw a man gabbing on his phone put his train ticket into the exit turnstile and attempt to walk through the next one over. A stranger grabbed him by the back of his jacket and directed him through the correct side. Neither acknowledged the other. Little acts of WTF.

This attempt at journalism misses the fact that we are living under fascism, an invasive tech oligarchy, an insistence on brain-melting AI, a daily barrage of filmed genocide, runaway climate change, a cost of living crisis, and the constant threat of war. Heaven forbid people seek a little joy.

do think there's a danger of looking at extremely cool shit like a car driving upside down then doing a kickflip before landing, and convincing yourself it's actually lame because the guy funding it is a white supremacist

question for the audience: if you were ultra rich (let’s say $25M), what completely frivolous thing are you buying?

A new friend has joined Dinah in the pigeon run. He is currently known as Mr Flappy Flap (he may tell us his real name later). He is so handsome, Dinah just had to check him out.

Nice glass of water you have there. It’d be a shame if someone climbed over your lap, stepped onto the table, positioned themselves just so and sneezed in it.
