I don't want much for Christmas, I just want whoever is reading this, to be happy, healthy and loved.... That is a moderately high bar by today's apparent standards. It should be a very low bar that is easy to achieve by all, everyone should feel loved

I have just received an Amazon delivery... I have tried to avoid using Amazon as "Bezos"... However, the driver was an absolute legend. He was not local, he saw me with our puppy out on a lead, he was 110% respectful of that, he had dog treats ready and asked if it was OK if he gave her a treat.

In case anyone needed any more reason to dump Meta products en masse.... Basically your data is not in fact your data. You can object to meta using your DMs, your pictures etc to train their AI but they are under no obligation to honor that request.

This means that Meta ignore and bypass all authentication, including their 2FA, that had been hacked long ago. If you use Meta products then NONE of your messages are in fact private. Not Facebook, not Instagram and don't forget.... Not WhatsApp

This is more important than you realize. Bluesky doesn’t downgrade links. Which means news sites will get more traffic from here than other sites. Which gives them economic reasons to post here first.
