We agree with Simon Jenkins that #Heathrow's 3rd runway plans should be stopped, but we don't agree that #Gatwick or #Stansted should be expanded instead. That won't solve the #climate problem. Demand management is the only answer compatible with climate goals. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Great British Rail could modernize ticketing - if we keep it fair. Simpler tickets, more choice. But will one system mean less competition? What do you think? One place for everything or keep our options open?

That's a win in our book. We're all for making the greener choice the more convenient choice.

International services would help unlock a new chapter for East London with the potential to generate an additional £1.3bn in tourist spending for the UK.

Cardiff Cross rail is officially underway. More seats, better connections, easier journeys - exactly the kind of infrastructure that makes staying on the ground the smarter choice. Investing in trains reduces the need for runways. That's the future we want 🚂

Yet again #BBC's Today programme gives a platform for #Heathrow's CEO to argue for expansion unchallenged. Today he threatened his investors would take their money elsewhere. If it doesn't expand we won't need their money. And our construction jobs can be used to build much needed homes instead.
