“On Google declaring war on the Web” https://tante.cc/2026/05/20/on-google-declaring-war-on-the-web/ > This is a literal revolution but one against the participatory web, against us: The goal is to take away the web and guide people into Google’s abstraction on top of it.

How is my sabbatical, you ask? I spent a significant amount of time adding features to fnhipster.com, including a live ASCII video stream, live cursors, and terminal navigation. And no, this is not work... at all.

An Instagram story unexpectedly snapped me out of a doom-scrolling trance. That brief moment sparked a broader reflection on how short-form content and AI have conditioned us to bypass the journey in favor of speed and self-affirmation.
When the thinking feels outsourced and the voice starts to echo back—who’s really writing? A reflection on authorship, AI collaboration, and what happens when the “I” gets quietly automated.

It’s been a challenge finding the time and inspiration, but fnhipster.com is finally live! It’s my little space to share thoughts on tech, front-end stuff, and whatever else pops into my head. Check it out if you’re curious!
