We are making the oil oligarchs rich. We are making Trump and his cronies rich. It is literally at our expense every day. There’s no trickling down happening. And Trump is bragging about it knowing nobody in the Republican Party will stand up to him and say enough.

So in Pennsylvania we have Wawas in the east. We have Sheetz in the middle. In the middle we also have another set of convenience/gas stores. Sheetz is red and yellow. Rutters is Red and Brown and that is the difference. I am posting this because I saw this today and though "REALLY?!WTF!!!"

There are SO many cool things at the WW2 Expierence museum in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. It is a must stop if you are into anything WWII related. I am going to hold myself from spamming pictures and just start with this. The Japanese made 4000 of their own General Purpose vehicles in WW2. Who knew?

For comparison here is the Bantam Jeep. Before Willys and Ford produced almost all of the Jeeps in WWII. Bantam wasn't large enough to manufacturer them in Pennsylvania. They are the company that came out with the General Purpose vehicle not Willys or Ford and they have one.

One of the other oddities they had, and it is connected here, is this prototype tractor made in Philadelphia. What makes it unusual is that it was designed to use up all the extra Jeep engines from the war. So it was built to use the Willys 4 cylinder Hurricane.

What caught my attention the most is how it looks like a Bantam CAR and not the Bantam JEEP. Like the Japanese copied the wrong Bantam vehicle. There are only 4 in the US and they have one of them. I had never heard of this vehicle before today.

Microsofts layoffs has a lot of layers and it really isn't AI.MS has a successful AI product thats pricey but selling well. This has to do with their move away from licenses for products and subscription everything.Its expensive.Its unsustainable for most businesses and they dont care.

Plus that 60,000 number is telling. It equals another yearly number im not in the mood to fight about that Microsoft is big into and that they can use to take care of getting rid of employees. Basically "Contractor everything!" to say it nicely.

Someone I missed that Walter Koenig passed away yesterday. So Shatner has outlived the youngest person on the show?!

Having part of this several times in IT. I like this wording - Microsoft is giving about 60,000 employees the opportunity to leave with severance voluntarily. The opportunity? Yeah right. They aren't being given a choice.
