Yo, NASA. Leaving this here in case you forget in the next streaming to mention the importance of the European contribution to the success of this mission. You are welcome!
COMING UP: in a few hours, a final burn will send the crew on their way to the Moon. This will be performed by our European Service Module's main engine. (🎥 NASA)
Humankind is extraordinarily "stupid?" How much is this costing across all agents using it? What's the point of this? Or am I getting old and grumpy? www.moltbook.com
The monster is out of the cave, you can’t put it back and pretend it never happened. You can build an ecosystem at work around AI technologies, and train people on the benefits of adding them to their workflows. Everything else will follow.
How do people feel about the usage of GenAI tools being mandated at work?

I’ve just published Chapter 2 of Crafting Platforms. To celebrate, I’m giving away the first two chapters for free. If you’re interested in platform engineering, reliability, and building platforms with intention, this is a good moment to jump in. newsletter.craftingplatforms.com/p/chapter-2-...
You can get your free copy by: 1️⃣ Subscribing to the Crafting Platforms newsletter (newsletter.craftingplatforms.com/subscribe) 2️⃣ Checking the Welcome email, which includes a download button for both PDF and EPUB versions
When we talk about self-service platforms, it’s easy to confuse freedom with unrestricted access. In practice, giving developers every possible option usually leads to more complexity, not more autonomy. newsletter.craftingplatforms.com/p/golden-pat...
Me: Friday. I'll finish work early today... @cloudflare.social: Enjoy! Javier Tebas: Hold my cubata.
When I started writing Crafting Platforms, the second chapter was supposed to focus on “Platform as a Product.” But as I developed the content, it became clear that I couldn’t discuss product thinking without first defining the broader context: the Internal Developer Platform itself.

I tried the @grafana.bsky.social MCP server today with @github.com Copilot and @gitlab.com Duo, both with Claude Sonnet and I’m speechless. It’s definitely my preferred new toy, and it will become essential in my toolset moving forward.
Friendly reminder that subscribers will get the first two chapters of the book for free. First chapter already published. Second chapter will be out soon. Don’t miss this opportunity!
Listen more than you impose. Respect the team’s load before asking for effort. Show value before asking for commitment. newsletter.craftingplatforms.com/p/understand...
In physics, momentum (“quantity of motion”) is the product of mass and velocity: p = mv A fully loaded cargo ship traveling at cruising speed has enormous momentum. You can’t simply turn the wheel and expect the vessel to pivot sharply. It will fight you. It wants to keep going straight.
Engineering works exactly the same way. It has an implicity momentum that makes adoption harder. Platform teams will fail if they ignore it. I tell you more in Crafting Platforms. newsletter.craftingplatforms.com #platform #engineering #devops #culture
