Once again, places where people had mental health treatment/mistreatment is not appropriate for a Halloween celebration.

A former psychiatric hospital in Detroit and a one-time funeral home in Toledo offer ghost-hunting expeditions. Visitors can embark on guided paranormal investigation tours of the facilities, or even set out on their own with rented equipment, such as a handheld electromagnetic field meter.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Normally I would question this as a revenge attack from the DOJ, but not in this case. She is all about the $$$ for herself.

This song was sung to me as a child (at least the chorus). My siblings were teens when I was born. So I was a "surprise." When I was a toddler, my hair was a golden blonde.

ICE causes man to wreck while his children are in the car, then tries to pry his kids from his arms. They got the wrong guy. Toward the end of the video, an ICE officer says law requires the person recording to back up 25 feet and threatens with pepper spray. (There is no 25-foot law.)

I remember when a family member complained about all the Obama merch. As far as I know, he didn't have people opening up stores dedicated to him.

At least four Trump merchandise stores have closed this year. Store owners say with Trump in his final term, there isn't as much to fire up his consumer fan base and sales have softened. n.pr/4Bm45o5

it's worth noting that this wasn't even the first time Vivek has accused her of lying about her childhood!

I never knew how bad my vitamin deficiency was. After getting tests and adding Vitamin D, B12, and iron I suddenly have energy to do things. The GLP-1 may be helping too.

Yesterday I was sitting outside chilling and the decided to clean up the flower bed. Today I cleaned out the fridge (oldest thing in there was from 2022). Next is bringing in my outdoor plants and doing laundry. I also wake up at reasonable times on the weekend. Where has this woman been?

Cleaned up my flower bed. Pulling vines is so satisfying. I should charge people to come and do it. My hanging Impatiens shed some flowers into the flower bed and now they are growing there. It's rather cool.

So we fly a pride flag in our front yard in a very conservative neighborhood and it’s been there for the last few years. Someone put this in our mailbox and my goodness…

I am sure other people hate that their birthday month/date is associated with a holiday because that is all you see. This month is my birthday month and I get sick of Halloween pretty quickly.

I HATE that "insane asylums" are part of Halloween festivities. One of our local ones, where I knew people who stayed there (and got help), is on the list. It's disgusting. "Hey! Let's celebrate this holiday by going to a place where people with mental illness who were treated like shit lived."

I listened to his speech and the Q&A. While he ticks all the boxes - R1, land grant, and changing athletics experience, he was very cautious in his speech and how he answered questions.

A great article on how students who spend 4 years at JMU are paying just over a year's worth of tuition for sports.

The Dukes will move from the Sun Belt Conference to the American Conference by July 1, 2028. That should bring JMU more broadcast revenue, but will it reduce the school’s unusually high depen…
