To make it much leaner than the original I had to restructure it quite a bit so that upstream PRs stopped to make a lot of sense.

Hey @tpitre.bsky.social, what's your take on the current Figma Console MCP Skills (last updated 3 months ago) vs your original Figma Console MCP? I assumed for most of my tasks the skills package is the token leaner option but I'm a bit concerned Opus 5 requires some refactoring?

@writer.ia.net iA Writer since a couple of weeks keeps crashing seemingly out of nowhere. Don't have an exact date I can pinpoint but recently it's one to a few times per day. After restarting it it keeps working or crashes sometime later. macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 (25F84) iA Writer version 8.0.5 (80037)

The problem with an Everything App is that it trains you to pick up the Everything App for everything. Even for tasks where the Everything App is explicitly unsuitable! But positioning as the Some Things App requires actual product design, which is work, which is hard, and gets less hype.

“But we’ve shown a banner and send an email on this update to everyone” (paraphrased) is not enough. Explaining training their AI models on everything you do with “This approach aligns with established industry practices” (exact quote) is just gaslighting. Opted out as soon as I’ve noticed it.

If you use GitHub (especially if you pay for it!!) consider doing this *immediately* Settings -> Privacy -> Disallow GitHub to train their models on your code. GitHub opted *everyone* into training. No matter if you pay for the service (like I do). WTH github.com/settings/cop...

Die Polizei hat bei dem Fotografen Leon Enrique Montero eine Hausdurchsuchung durchgeführt. Er hatte für @taz.de eine Reportage zu Lorenz A. fotografiert, der in Oldenburg von der Polizei erschossen worden war. Das ist ein Eingriff in die Pressefreiheit. Wir stehen an der Seite unseres Kollegen.

Hey TJ @tpitre.bsky.social, I’ve just started to look into your Figma Console MCP. Still need to play around with it to wrap my head around it… but holy cow 🤯. My question: Can I start in a design system in code and compile it into an empty Figma file w/ AutoLayout, tokens, variables etc.?
