they took the story of Jeritza's future I feel like the Bernie/Jeritza ending of 3h implied and made it the explicit story but said "what if Jeritza was so beautiful no one could talk about anything else, and what if Hubert was an alien piloting a corpse" and honestly? good changes

just read The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson and the whole book is good, I'm very hungry for the sequel, but it pulled off the most incredible protagonist bait and switch I've ever seen and I can't stop thinking about how much it got my ass

Theodora is SO good I have not yet regretted impulse picking her as my first route when I was planning on Dietrich though. Check out my bionic arm, I will let the kingdom fall to civil war before I'll take an unsuitable lover to produce an heir, have y'all noticed how soft and radiant Leda's skin is

i used to think striving for neutrality and ~ seeing all sides ~ was the mature and balanced attitude. i used to think this when i was a child and i didn't realize that there are actually quite a few issues where no nuance is required at all & people just use neutrality as a cover for cowardice

I think for obvious reasons it is not correct to conflate public executions carried out by the state as spectacle with videos of murders by law enforcement that have been recorded often at considerable risk by observers. These are two different bad things done for different reasons
