Socks went in the laundry and I hadn’t considered that my near feral cat Nessie had never seen a naked human foot. I get it. They look kind of weird and attacking them sort of makes sense. Anyways, I’m hoping to clot up before I go to bed.

While it is not important to assign blame, I dropped a container of guacamole on the kitchen floor and seem to have caught most of it on my right leg— jeans, socks and shoes. If you should read chapter 33 of my Savannah book, know that it was written with love but pantslessly.

I'm working on the final edits for this today. The book will be out early next year. While it never says "claustrophobia," this whole chapter is about it.

Welcome to spooky week for #WIPSnips! The #WIPSnips word for October 26th is "claustrophobia" Remember, use synonyms, variations or ✨vibes✨ if you don't have the word! #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

There was an incident this evening which I am still coming to terms with. The two small cats were very interested in something I assumed was a bug from outside. It was not. It was a lizard. I rescued the poor injured beast and placed him back outside. Or her. It’s not my business.

This is available in audio and read by an actual living human. Reach out if you’d like a code to download it or you can find wherever it is people find their audiobooks. My mom thinks it’s okay.

The fifth book in the Lawrence Miller Ghost Stories series is available starting tomorrow in eBook, paperback, hardcover and audio! Basically, every format except for etched onto human skin and bound into cursed leather.

I just finished chapter 29 of my current work in progress and it only took three glasses of whiskey. I hope someone invents a better way of measuring time in the future.
