Everyone should read these threads I did about industry lobbyists and the EPA and understand them. Take the time to see the unambiguous evidence of what's happening now at this moment inside the EPA. Please retweet them. Please read them. Each one of the threads. It's happening in slow motion.

I get put on multiple new email lists every election cycle because I gave money through actblue and other bundlers. I know this because I used a unique email for that. And there’s no way to get removed from their lists.

Once mass spam texts were made legal, younger donors vanished, leaving a grassroots fundraising machine that subsists on squeezing vulnerable seniors, some of whom give hundreds of times a day. It’s a horrific model. Consultants get generationally wealthy, and the party hollows out its future.

Given the news that Meta throttled Lula in Brazil and stories like this one below every Dem state legislature should open an investigation into whether the platforms have attempted to influence elections in their states.

All Dems should be saying this, over and over.

Will you look at this. He got there. Hell yeah: "Powerful people are using small minorities in our community to distract from their corruption. The only minority destroying America is the billionaires."

Minnesota has long been welcoming to various minorities and refugees. His cynical BS trying to divide people against people is yet another piece of awful.

Trump tries to start a race war: "The once Great State of Minnesota is being taken over by Somali Immigrants ... The Somalians should not be allowed to get away with what they are doing. They view you as weak and stupid people. Fight back Minnesota, fight back!"

Wondering if their call for slowing down frontier development is cost-related, and not “we could accidentally creat Skynet” related.

Which is to say, these companies are claiming that they are *so cool* that their profitability can only be measured using a novel, secret form of mathematics: futurism.com/future-socie...

It’s a point that has been made before: These people are here without authorization only because the administration revoked it. It is as if Trump were somehow to strip citizenship from every Democrat.

Bradley P. Moss@bradmossesq.bsky.social

These people had protected status. They lived here legally. They worked, they paid taxes. They made lives. Raised families. Now we’ve dehumanized them. Ripped away that protection and told them to get out. This is a stain on the soul of this Nation.

There’s 2 paths forward for our country. Either we elect leaders who make *massive,* structural changes (prosecuting the Epstein Ring, getting money out of politics & Medicare-for-All), or we elect 500 Gavin Newsoms who do nothing, which enables a more dangerous fascist than Trump to win in 2032

This is the reason I'm ALMOST black pilled on the ability of the US to pull out of this in the medium term. Can we pause the slide in 2026 and 2028? Yeah, probably. Will there be a "thermostatic backlash" in 2032 that puts someone EVEN WORSE back in power? Quite possibly.

Next prompt is to ask Claude to write a script to yank the extra UTF8 bits that get inserted by Claude to watermark text. 😛

“How do I check if a piece of text was written by Claude? We will soon be offering a watermark detection API. We’re in the process of working out the details of its implementation.”

Everyone involved in this needs to go to The Hague.

The US is adopting a strategy of attacking water storage and desalination plants designed to render the region uninhabitable. If continued, this strategy will make the Gulf littoral uninhabitable in the coming decades. Yet there is no discussion of these tactics and their repercussion in the US.

I say this every time someone who was horrible for the world dies, and that’s I don’t wish anyone ill but trying to tone police people into only speaking well of the dead is a way of excusing what they did. I’m sure Lindsey was a charming man but did/excused a lot of evil things while in power.

Jeff (Hot Type) Jarvis@jeffjarvis.bsky.social

I did not need to wake up to Claire McCaskill on MSNow scolding us all to be "charitable" to Lindsey Graham because he was a "good man." No, he wasn't. He was the fascists' handmaiden.
