Most state attorneys general released Meta from Cambridge Analytica-related claims as part of the child safety settlement. New Mexico wasn't part of that deal, and a jury there found 26 of 29 past statements about Cambridge Analytica, hate speech and misinformation willfully deceptive.

Telegraph: The White House has blocked the transfer of Patriot missiles to Ukraine, US officials have said. Go to! I provided commentary at multiple points on the AI Act and people were really grateful. You can read my actual commentary on my blog, and a meta level description of the process on my recent Trier article, see my publications. The EU really is a democracy, and really does take advice.

AI isn't reliable enough to get even a hamburger order right, but reckless Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is pushing to expand artificial intelligence across the U.S. military, including AI-enabled targeting. "Would you like fries with that obliterated girls' school?"
