It's such a strange experience sitting down with a parent and talking about plans for what happens after they die. I honestly don't think I've fully processed my mom's cancer treatment results can't be certain. She was told the average expectancy is 5 years after diagnoses. That is... so short

We talked about what plans she has in place already. I'm the executor of her will and she's leaving everything to me to distribute fairly, that she has a trust so that they can't go after me or family for the massive medical bills, etc.

Her treatments are going well, and so far tests have been coming back good. She's got a few more rounds of chemo and more scans to go. It's all just a lot to process after a 12hr overnight shift and I just needed to write it all down & send it into the void... I am going to try and sleep now

Finally got around to recording and taking photos of chibi Amaterasu, a prize for @pepperpokearts.bsky.social for the Okami 20th anniversary raffle I was holding back in April. Sorry Ive been so slow 🫣 Photos will follow soon. Sculpted in Blender, printed with plant based resin #大神 #okami #3Dprint

Will try and do proper photos/videos in a few days, but I finished chibi Amaterasu for @pepperpokearts.bsky.social ‘s Okami raffle prize :) Painting during a heatwave is horrendous… the paint keeps drying too fast and the room with our painting desk is the hottest 😭

I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.

My child loves going to the library and checking out a new video game every week. Going digital only eliminates libraries as a way people can access games.

For the record, this proposal specifically targets gender identity. You have until May 22nd to submit a comment

glaad.org/fcc/ I decided if they could use the slippery slope argument, so could I. What's next, a label for content that includes POC? Women? Thank you, @authorkaraj.bsky.social, for teaching me about the Comstock laws because I threw those in my comment too.

glaad.orgTell the FCC that LGBTQ Stories Don’t Need a Warning Label | GLAADThe Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is targeting LGBTQ stories. They are trying to control what you see on television. This government overreach is dangerous...

If I took on some Pokemon fusion customs, would anyone be interested? I’d probably have two different options: Colored Sketch (Left) - 💲1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ Clean Lined (Right) - 💲2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣

@artfight.net please consider changing this rule. Tons of artists (beginners, professionals and all in between) rely on 3D models and photos to create artwork with accurate proportions in a short time frame. Art fight encourages a consistent stream of artwork that benefits from these resources. (1/)
