Bungie's Destiny 2 was released 9 years ago today.

It's been just staggering how much the games industry is at the whims of people who don't care, will not care, and simply do not have to care about games.

And, finally...writing this encounter with Ikora was gut-wrenchingly emotional for me. I really wanted to reach out and recognize the Guardian, the player, and all the love we have for you and the love you gave back to us. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

Bungie deserves far better. The people who made Destiny 2 special deserve far, far better.

god what an unforced disaster to take the team that built and maintained Destiny 2 and just smash it into the rocks instead of investing in whatever that big pile of talent and skill can build next

I’ve spent 11 years archiving and categorizing Destiny lore. So I wrote a blog post about how I feel, and to say thank you to all the people who’ve helped build a world I love. errata.ishtar-collective.net/irrational-h...

Latin American Coups promoted by the United States

Over and over the US inflicts obscene violence against the global South, in flagrant violation of international law, to maintain the conditions for capital accumulation for its decadent billionaire class. It's disgusting and intolerable. We cannot continue to accept this.

Anyone ever sat for hours smashing controller buttons while parrying a boss you literally pulled a BACK muscle? No? Just me. Fk I'm old. Someone shoot me pls.

This absolutely should be an in-game cosmetic.

After 2 months of work, the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 video is here. I interviewed most of the game's senior leadership team asking one simple question: how did you do this? Their answers were inspiring and moving, and it's no surprise that COE33 is as remarkable as it is: youtu.be/mXLOLgC2V2Q?...

Today's the birthday of Barry Windsor-Smith—one of the greatest visual storytellers to ever work in comics. A true master.
