This is not “parenting.” There was no misbehavior that needed to be corrected. In fact, there is a manufactured issue based on the whim of a narcissist parent. This is “narcissistic parenting” - based on a need for control and to feed his own grandiosity & to be the center of attention.

Even the story he tells from his childhood about being beat up by bullies has a backstory. Elon was making fun of a classmate whose father had just committed suicide, so the boy’s friends beat him up. Elon’s father sided with the other boys because he said Elon deserved it.
