At the very least, her kid is going to have receipts to show her therapist to explain why she has crippling insecurities. "Here's the time my mom said she needed A.I. to provide my teacher a three bullet point list of things she liked about me."

RIP Walter Koenig. A sci-fi icon who left his mark on two amazing space operas.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

Not only an incredible talent, but a rare talent who also thought it was funny to just voice random memes every once in a while

Unbelievable loss. An amazing talent, and just a really, really good person. www.instagram.com/p/De8RFy4pyov/

Our U.S. far-right dickheads are doing English language propaganda films for their South American counterparts? How am I just now learning this?

These are some of the strangest movie tie-in games ever released. They're just a mock up of Windows and DOS with Austin Powers stuff. Sold as Gameboy games.

I already had a pretty solid "No games from EA" rule of thumb, but with BioWare out of the picture entirely that'll definitely become a "No EA under any circumstances" situation. Don't care what they throw up during presentations, I'm done.

Travis Knight says that ‘WILDWOOD’ had to be PG-13 due to the tragic acts of violence seen in the film. “Modern cinema generally tends to talk down to young audiences. But young people experience loss. They know what it’s like to feel afraid.” (Source: www.nytimes.com/2026/10/24/m...)

For @gamespot.com, I revisited BioWare's history of queer representation and how it always strove to depict LGBTQ characters and stories with nuance and respect. It wasn't always perfect, but gaming wouldn't be where it is today without Mass Effect or Dragon Age. www.gamespot.com/articles/bio...

Like, I fully expected some silliness for the littlest kiddos who could get bored by a straight forward little romance story, but this just slaps you in the face at the end with the most obnoxious kid movie characters imaginable.

This trailer is like, "Before us folks at Illumination give the impression that this is something shockingly different from us, let us close it out with the animation equivalent of jangling keys."

Found myself working on a one-shot story featuring my two Mass Effect fan characters. My way of coping with BioWare's shutdown. Have a small snippet of alien hand holding.

There was a fucking hole in our planet’s *atmosphere* Like a legit, no joke, “this will unravel our entire ecosystem” hole in the world, and then we fixed it by working together across national and political lines As a species we decided, “we will survive” Let’s do that some more

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

I swear, if this game ever comes out, it's development timeline is going to make the development of Duke Nukem Forever seem normal by comparison.

HOW ABOUT MAKING A SEQUEL TO BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL

How do you spend three years trying to fashion the sequel to a 2003 cult classic game where you played as a investigative journalist into a live-service Fortnite killer?

I still laugh imaging some horny dude running out to buy Mass Effect because Fox News built it up as a porno, only to pop it in and find it's actually Babylon 5.

In honor of BioWare, let’s reflect on the time Fox News had a meltdown over the “pornographic” video game Mass Effect. (If you haven’t played Mass Effect: the “sex” scenes are PG-13 at their hardest.)

Flashback Friday 2019 ahead of winning Best Original Short Screenplay at the San Antonio Film Festival. I was just beginning to come out as trans with family and friends and was only a few months into growing my hair out.

Fine, Flashback Friday. Jumpin’ Jack Flash, it’s a gas gas gas. In another life, here’s me performing at the Matrix Coffee House in Centralia, WA, in 2003.

Long Live BioWare. The stories we shared will endure long after their lights went out.

More than any other studio, BioWare made me understand what interactive narratives were truly capable of. They weren’t always perfect, but at their best, BioWare games made me want to believe anything was possible.
