I just signed a new law expanding California's K-12 special education funding by 43%. With an additional $2.4 billion for public schools across the state, we're continuing to improve classroom instruction and services for students with disabilities.

The Trump Administration had no problem cutting the budget for kids with developmental disabilities and instead increasing funds for his private plane. The most corrupt administration in our history.

A federal appellate court handed a major win to ICE detainees in litigation over the Trump admin's mass detention policy. In a 2-1 ruling, judges said detainees must get a bond hearing in 90 days to be given due process rights, noting the vast majority are non-criminals and longtime residents.
