The weather forecast for Trump's parade is 50% chance of scatter thunderstorms. Let's hope it literally "rains on his parade" - causing fewer people to show up, poor optics, and cancelling Trump's favorite part: the Army's parachute jump where they will present Trump an American flag after the jump.

At the ICE raid and subsequent community resistance in Paramount, California this morning, this skater kid ate dozens of munitions from Border Patrol agents, walked away slowly and flipped them off.

Pete Hesgeth — who wants to rename the Navy ship that honors Medgar Evers, a WWII veteran who landed on Omaha Beach — is using that same beach for a photo op in which he promises we will “never forget” the veterans there. What an unbelievable asshole.

Since the AG doesn't seem to be getting ethics guidance from her team these days, I wanted to make sure she has the rule in the Justice Manual in front of her, which expressly prohibits this.

MURRAY: Will you allocate the $220m for literacy programs that Congress appropriated? McMAHON: We're looking at the unallocated dollars to determine which of those programs we can best spend on MURRAY: Those funds were appropriated. It looks to me like the dept is illegally impounding funding

These are the Democrats of the future if we are going to survive as a democracy. These are the people trying to do something and not sitting back, letting it happen, and sending an occassional "strongly-worded letter". Get rid of Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, and sadly even Hakeem Jeffries.

There are 7,591 words in the U.S. Constitution. Not one is "bible", "Jesus", "Judeo", "Christian" or "God". Separation of church and state guarantees ALL Americans the right to practice ANY religion. Or none. Which part of "religious freedom" is not as clear as a church bell?

So, apparently MAGA is boycotting Harvard now. In a show of equally bold and principled resistance, I too am taking a stand: I will be removing myself from contention for People Magazine's 2025 "Sexiest Man Alive".

Federal judges are all rulling against Trump's executive orders. Either all these judges - appointed by Democrats, Republicans, and even Trump himself - are conducting a "judicial coup" as the Trump administration put it, or... now hear me out here... Trump is actually corrupt and violating the law.

Here’s the thing, if they are picking up folks working in the country illegally, I’m going to need to see some white guys also being arrested for employing people working illegally in the country. Otherwise, it’s just racism.

@timmiller.bsky.social on Marco Rubio: “It’s hard to understand how you figure that you are going to be a big advocate for American free speech worldwide. While you are the point person for sending masked thugs to get a random 30-year-old graduate student for cosigning an op-ed.”

How dare someone call me a derogatory nickname like "TACO". It is childish and denotes low intelligence! Who said it? "Little Marco" Rubio? "Lyin' Ted" Cruz? "Crooked Hillary"? "Sleepy Joe" Biden? "Birdbrain" Nikki Haley? "Crazy Nancy Pelosi"? "Letitia Peekaboo James"? "Horseface" Stormy Daniels?

If MAGA were writing history books 100 years from now, they'd turn Trump into a flawless, miracle-working savior - facts be damned. Now ask yourself: How much do you really trust the gospel accounts written decades after Jesus died, by his biggest fans? #atheist #atheism

RFK Jr. is reportedly going to forbid government scientists from publishing in the world’s most respected medical journals — the Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, etc. It’s going to take decades to repair the damage done by this administration.

The U.S. has—had—one of the top intelligence operations in the world. What a resource to make informed decisions. Yet we have an ignorant WH occupant who relies on fringe conspiracists to spread false information. What a danger. What an embarrassment. What a tragedy.

BREAKING: ICE deported a Burmese man who doesn’t speak English to South Sudan—a country he’s not from and on the brink of civil war. He refused to sign English-only papers. They deported him anyway—with 11 others. No hearings. No translators. Court order ignored. This is state-sponsored kidnapping.

Crockett: Right now, it seems like you don’t care about the constitution unless it’s the second amendment and that’s misinterpreted as well. There’s other amendments.. And we don’t get to just change it because our fearless leader says that he doesn’t like it

“Habeas corpus is the legal principle that requires the government to provide a public reason for detaining and imprisoning people. If not for that protection, the government could simply arrest people, including American citizens, and hold them indefinitely for no reason.”

motherjones.comDoes Kristi Noem even know what habeas corpus is?The Homeland Security secretary's word salad raised even more questions about the administration's assault on fundamental rights.
