You or someone you know probably believes misinformation about natural gas; polling shows HALF of likely voters think it’s a clean fuel. We made this episode to try and debunk some of that misinformation, but also to explore the decades-long propaganda campaign fueling it. Pls like/share!

Was great going on Heated's podcast with @emorwee.bsky.social & @tracywholf.bsky.social to unpack why smart people believe that natural gas is a climate solution and the long campaign that got us there. heated.world/p/why-smart-...

remember, the war in Iran in unauthorized. Congress could shut it down if Republicans wanted to. only a few Rs are starting to distance themselves from the war, but if elected they won't follow through. they'll just give in to Trump like they always do.

Congress has all the tools to stop the runaway train that is Trump’s America before more damage is done. Republicans are in charge and refuse to act. Don’t forget in November and every day after.

This is appalling. These Haitians were here legally under the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program. The Trump regime spread racist lies, ended the program, declared them illegal and rounded them up in chains for deportation. Now DHS is proudly posting videos of Black Haitians in chains.

Are Republicans really going to run an election on calling Democrats Communists? Especially when Trump is the closest we've come to a Soviet style Communist regime in my lifetime. How does that even work? Do people under 40 even know what "Communism" was?

This is so good. It's hilarious but also scary. Wow. Gemini went from “almost certainly” to “solidifies completely”.

So the war will leave Iran with control of the Strait and hardliners giving green light to proceed to a weapon. And thousands killed including tens of Americans.

An Iranian lawmaker said on Wednesday that a possible US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities would provide compelling grounds for changing the country's nuclear doctrine, a phrase hardliners have used to argue that Tehran should pursue nuclear weapons for deterrence.

Everyone sees Sen. Jon Ossoff's viral clips and the slickly produced campaign speech videos, giving him Dem superstar status and igniting calls for him to run for president. But in the Senate, his persona is much different. This is how his Senate colleagues view him... puck.news/inside-jon-o...

New for @puck.news After the spectacular collapse of Graham Platner, progressives admit that it was a setback. Abdul El-Sayed is their next best hope to prove they can win in difficult places and to lay the groundwork for 2028. puck.news/after-platne...

puck.newsPlat EarthersAfter Graham Platner’s flame-out in Maine, Michigan’s Abdul El-Sayed is the progressive left’s best—and last—chance to prove they can win a Senate seat in a purple state.

who are the 5% on Kalshi who think Platner won't drop out? and will that number grow by the hour? day? longer he goes w/o dropping out, more he will likely think he can ride this out buoyed by establishment-out-to-get-him-b/c-he's-4-working-class bros. (To be clear. I DON'T support him at all)

Has any Maine jurisdiction opened an investigation into Platner? The allegations in Politico seem sufficient for that. Foremost this is a serious criminal allegation. Secondarily it is a political problem. Maybe Dems should call for an investigation AND for Platner to drop out.

It would be nice if we fixed our criminal justice system so women could feel comfortable reporting sexual assaults to the police instead of having to report them to journalists who can only report on the accusations but do nothing about potentially prosecuting them.
