A reminder that the original Stanford prison experiment, as well as being wildly unethical, was ridiculously bogus, guards actually being coached to be abusive to prisoners and the supposed experimenter (Zimbardo) acting as prison superintendent. theconversation.com/the-infamous...

theconversation.comThe infamous Stanford prison experiment was flawed – so why is it still so influential today?A French science historian dug deep into the true story of the Stanford prison experiment – revealing ‘guards’ were actually coached to be brutal. His findings are now available in English.

The ghosts would not be able to *notice* that Pac-Man has eaten the ‘power pellet’, *fear* him, and *decide* to run the other direction if they were not rational agents.

The BBC Reform propaganda story is rightly taking some flack. Don’t forget who is embedded in ‘our’ national broadcaster. What has the BBC done for me….its become a biased, uncritical Reform platform

Nice manipulation!

Serial versus parallel search has been a major distinction in theories of attention for more than half a century. Here we provide the first evidence for distinct neural correlates of serial and parallel search using EEG decoding. www.jneurosci.org/content/earl...
