Netanyahu is sounding utterly desperate today. He's posting non-stop about high Arab voting turnout to create hysteria and fear. He also released a video statement claiming "They are trying to steal the election from us!" Arab Israelis make up 21% of the Israeli electorate.

It's VERY useful right now to watch elections in other countries: like Serbia, Brazil, & Israel. It's fascinating to see democracy emerge victorious in 2 countries. And to discover how panic over the impact of mass voting--democracy--will affect a 3rd BIG numbers of people voting are a GOOD THING

voter turnout in israel at highest by midday since 1977 normally a good thing. for netanyahu, high arab turnout is an ‘emergency’ (…and an excuse to claim election was stolen, of course)

Israelis are heading to the polls for the first nationwide election since the attacks on Oct. 7, 2023, the deadliest day in the country’s history, and voter turnout is at its highest in 50 years. NBC News' Richard Engel reports from Tel Aviv.

Benjamin Netanyahu is the Dick Cheney of Israel's right wing movement. Even someone to his right socially taking power doesn't have their fingerprints on the long road towards this end of days genocidal attack to wipe out Gaza as much as he does with his American counterparts.

Turnout in Israel is currently 44.9% — the highest ever recorded at 2pm in Israeli history. I'm optimistic this means the end of Netanyahu. Polling won't have reflected just how many will decide on the day that they cannot vote for the man who presided over the biggest slaughter of Jews since WW2.

I say it plainly: I do not celebrate Castro. I call Cuba what it is, an authoritarian regime, and I will fight for the Cuban families who fled it. Meanwhile, Ashley Moody backs deporting Cuban families back to the regime they escaped. #AngieforFlorida

US President Donald Trump said Monday he considered a ceasefire during the war with Iran “sort of a waste of time,” as he touted the US blockade and said Washington now had “total control.” “We have the greatest blockade probably in naval history,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Mississippi.

Some of the most meaningful moments on the campaign trail have been spending time up in the Sault with the Bay Mills and Sault tribes. We must protect tribal sovereignty, protect our Great Lakes, and ensure everyone can get a good job and know that our basic rights and dignities are preserved.

Trump is in his 9th decade. Clinically obese, he lives on Coke and cheeseburgers, never exercises, loses consciousness at public events, seems increasingly confused, and has visible purple lesions on his hands, arms, and face. BB couldn’t be happier, of course.

Farm workers in Sunnyside WA are getting pumpkins ready for Halloween. They carry the pumpkins to the side of the field so when the tractor comes by them is easier to load it. An average pumpkin weighs 12–15 lbs, but some weigh 50lbs or more. #WeFeedYou
