This week’s #randomgamesaturday is nobody’s favorite game, World Heroes for the NeoGeo AES. Ok, it is quite mediocre and unambitious, but it plays well and has a nostalgic appeal to me.

Today’s #randomgamesaturday is my small collection of Primal Rage ports. The SNES version helped me mend a broken heart around 1996 so I have a soft spot for this, let’s admit, not so good game. I usually play as Diablo.

Today’s #randomgamesaturday is my newly arrived Last Resort for the NeoGeo. It’s my favorite shooter on the system and I finally found one at a “good” price. That Akira-stolen skyline of the first stage… wow. This game is such a looker.

Today’s #randomgamesaturday is the original Street Fighter on its only port back in the day for the PC Engine CD. It’s an awful game. Horrible control and little fun to be had, but we got very good sequels a few years later. It wouldn’t happen without the OG.

For this #randomgamesaturday we have my copy of Eliminate Down, one of the best Mega Drive shooters. Who is Luiz Suguita, though? He is a Brazilian former game collector who had an immense collection and sold it. He signed every single game he had, and became quite a legend around here.

That would be The Vampire Lestat. I couldn’t read it soon enough after watching the movie Interview With The Vampire. I’ve probably read it more than ten times.

There are loads of games I’ve finished more than six times. Maybe it would be a harder challenge it if was sixty times. I’ve chosen Hook for the SNES because it’s kind of a comfort game for me. I think it’s immensely pretty, plays very well and is short and easy.

For this #randomgamesaturday here’s my boxed copy of the Brazilian version of Streets of Rage 3, autographed by Yuzo Koshiro at last year’s RetroCon. I’d much rather play the Japanese version, but now it’s a great collectible and I’ll never sell it.
