‘Wicker’ stars Alexander Skarsgård as a man made entirely of wicker, complete with a rock-hard wicker dick. But what about splinters? Bacteria? Degradation? Would it be advisable, from a sexual-health perspective, to mount a basket dick? We asked a gynecologist: vulture.visitlink.me/DNQwX5

Ah yes my favorite topic as someone with total aphantasia, who people LOVE to claim are utterly helpless without AI help. My mind cannot conjure images, sounds or any sensations. No inner monologue. No dreams. And SDAM, so I don’t even have vivid memories And yet I draw. Without the shit machine :)

Unpacking in a move, found a box of old dishes wrapped in newspaper from the 90s. I forgot how integral art jobs were for every little thing at one point. No one thought twice at the idea of paying an illustrator or cartoonist a rate for stuff like this and it is genuinely nice.

Alt text: Middletown Ohio job ad for being a newspaper carrier. Fantastic ink drawing of a carrier boy with a strong gestural pose and economically rendered cloth wrinkles. Overall fantastic presentation.

70 percent of the internet was vulnerable yesterday to very bad security flaws inside a coding language. Turns out, *one volunteer* is mostly responsible for maintaining that code & helping push updates. Yesterday Ondřej Surý saved the internet. So I called him up www.theatlantic.com/technology/2...

Something about video games, that is true for all art, is that people dedicate their life to create stuff whether there is any way to earn money from it or not. People's motivations are very varied. But the side that makes us create something unique just because it's good will always remain in us.

so damn happy to see someone fighting the good fight not just promoting RINGFALL, my studio's game I'm art directing, but promoting gyro and touchpad aim

I participated in Ringfall Pre-Alpha's focus test, and I opted to use a "dual-input" method (in my case: Steam Controller 2). gonna say, this might be the most fun multiplayer game I've had in a long time!

The dearth of visual vocabulary in the general populace is legit fucking horrifying. Like, no wonder so many are so suseptible to such clockable propaganda

I'm not totally sold on the art design in the new Ocarina of Time but there's some truth to this. The lack of vocabulary people seem to have for describing its style is a shame. I think we should generally refrain from insulting any human made art design as "AI" especially.

Your Android phone can become a PC light gun. Point-bang uses ARCore tracking for sensor free aiming, bringing Time Crisis-style shooting to Windows, Linux and Mac without extra hardware. Retro gaming just got a clever new option. #Android #RetroGaming
