Screenshots from the original DOS demo. It ran in mode 13h: 320x200 resolution, with non-square pixels, and at only 35hz -- half the VGA's native framerate of 70. It'll be fun to re-imagine for modern systems at 360p60.

After a stressful Next Fest, I've decided to take a one-week break from working on Enigma Heart, and cobble together a prototype of my next game, Acronia. Based on an old DOS prototype/demo of mine, it's a side-scrolling run 'n' gun inspired by Contra, Bio Menace, Rise of the Triad, Commander Keen.
