one wonders why @pm-keir-starmer.bsky.social is rebutting on Substack. But given zero UK 'news' outlet coverage of what he says other than handpicked morsels they use to trash him... It's decent, grounded unlike his predecessor's blatant self interest keirstarmer.substack.com/p/tony-blair...

the 1980s were better. it's that simple.

everyone ready?

The 1st attempt in #MicrosoftTeams to hide inactive channels ran into rocky waters because of its automatic nature. A redo where Teams "suggests" to users that they might like to hide some channels is much better. office365itpros.com/2025/08/28/h... #Microsoft365

uhuh, yeah, I'm the one who needs 'help' here. LOL Muppets.

Agentic mode with coding agents is where you say "please remove the CSS padding from the element in this screenshot" and once it's done, all photos of grandma have vanished from your drive.

A viewer sent me an email, asking me to look over a schematic for an autofire circuit that he had a generative AI create for him. This is the circuit he sent me. It doesn’t make any sense. I sent him a circuit that works from an old magazine I used before. Don’t fricking trust AI with anything.

I just uploaded PresentInk 1.0.0! A free to use presentation helper for MacOS ARM/Silicon that allows you to annotate on the screen in various colours, add rectangles, ellipses, arrows, text and take screenshots. It's like Zoomit (but no zooming 🙂 in PresentInk). Get it here: presentink.com

"Vibe coding" is the software development equivalent of "holding a beer and yelling at the lazy-ass apprentice to move the thing more to the right".

Yo! check out this MF showing 'disrespect' by rocking up at the White House in uniform, and not wearing a suit. Shudders. How awful.

Biden warned of “the potential rise of a tech-industrial complex”. Erm, it's already existed for about 20 years now.

would have been preferable if the Joe Pesci of Eurasian affairs would have covered all eight futures, and a great shame he doesn't ever do anymore than two for Ukraine, but still worthy of revisiting. www.foreignaffairs.com/russian-fede...

It would be cool if the next James Bond involved him going up against one of these evil tech billionaires that are ruining the world. *Checks notes to see whose company now owns James Bond* Ah. Probably not then.
