Staredown In The Wild... Late evening. Marco The Moose, slowly walking past me, on his way to forage for some snacks. As he went by, he gave me a quick 'wink' of his eye. It's called, deep woods respect. 🫎📸🇨🇦 #AlgonquinPark #Moose #Mammals #Wildlife #Nature #Photography #OntarioParks #Canada

LUKA’S BOOK CLUB: Kayla Rae Whitaker’s Returns and Exchanges comes mighty close to being the Great American Novel for these times. It’s a deep plunge into the corroded bedrock that supports the American dream & our distorted view of family values. All paws up for this one 🐾🐾

Am I the only one confused by the whole Christa Pike debacle? I don’t understand the human logic behind attempting to execute someone, then rushing them to the hospital to put them on life support. Make it make sense 🤯

Dolly Parton was they type of Christian that Christian Nationalists only *pretend* to be. Unlike Christian Nationalists, she didn't browbeat us with how CHRISTIAN she was. She just lived her life doing things that Jesus asked her to do, like heal the sick, help the children, and care for the poor.

LUKA’S BOOK CLUB: I don’t usually read memoirs, but I’m glad I made an exception for Strangers by Belle Burden - a painfully honest but admirably objective account of a woman going through a divorce she never saw coming. 4 paws up 🐾🐾

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?
