Today's the big day! Vote in person or drop off your ballot by 8pm. Huge special interests dumped close to $12 million into this race, but ultimately, the decision is still up to the voters. To everyone who has been with me and my team on this long journey, thank you so much!

(((TBC I’m a longtime JStreeter who has long opposed AIPAC and yet to those whose first question to me are “do you take aipac money” my answer is of course “no” but through gritted teeth bc what I hear is “hey Jew are you a good Jew or bad Jew you Jew” and I do not wish to pander to those people)))

I'm the only Jewish candidate running in Maryland's 5th Congressional District, and yet AIPAC has spent more than $5 million supporting my opponent - Oracle lobbyist Adrian Boafo. So what exactly is AIPAC? The Democratic Party has to do better on Israel-Palestine. Election Day is TOMORROW!

In Congress, my highest foreign policy priority besides Ukraine, Gaza, and like 100 other things will be to prevent the CCP from developing all-you-can-eat shrimp technology that matches or surpasses our own.

...... i'm sorry, they wanted to invade greenland because red lobster nixed the unlimited shrimp promotion? www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...

No matter what happens on Election Day, I've already added one title this year: dad. I also don't take for granted that getting married or having a family wouldn't have been in the cards for us just a few years ago. Changes in our society have come so rapidly, but progress is not inevitable.

As we head into the last few days of this race, I hear a lot of Democrats using "affordability" as a slogan. But what’s the actual plan? Take housing and transportation. We usually treat these as separate issues, but they’re deeply interconnected.

In Congress, I’ll push for a Federal version of legislation recently passed in California and incentivize new transit projects. That’s why I’ve been endorsed by organizations like YIMBY Action. bsky.app/profile/yimb...

We are happy to endorse @harrymd5.bsky.social for Maryland's 5th Congressional District because he supports expanding housing opportunities in the state. Fun fact: Harry became a volunteer firefighter to protect homes. Now he's ready to help put out the fire that is Maryland's housing shortage.🔥🏠

We also need more frequent MARC service, weekend service, and faster service with EMUs instead of diesel locomotives. And we need new leadership in Congress to solve the housing crisis, reduce traffic, and make policy that actually makes life affordable again. harrymd5.com

"The Americans can't get the slime out of their capital's monument pool and will arrest you for touching it," sounds like the sort of lie they'd tell us in the Soviet Union so we'd stop bitching about bread lines.

Over the past few days, I’ve knocked on hundreds of doors and spent many hours talking to voters at early voting. I've heard the same thing over and over - something like, “Okay, I know Adrian Boafo is a Big Tech lobbyist backed by AIPAC. But who else should I support?” So, let me make my case.

“Enemies of slavery referred to the institution as "the slave power." Republicans like Lincoln recognized quite clearly that they needed to fight slavery not just to save the slaves, but to liberate the country as a whole from the grip of the slave power.” www.liberalcurrents.com/editors-note...

liberalcurrents.comEditor's Notes: Destroy the Slave PowerToday we celebrate the end of chattel slavery in America, the darkest stain in a history that is not otherwise unblemished.

To cap off 45 years in Congress, much of it spent leading AIPAC-funded propaganda trips to Israel, my 87-year-old Rep. Steny Hoyer is starring in a $2.5 million TV ad full of lies for his chosen successor, a big tech lobbyist. What a wonderful summation of the Democratic Party.

Just another Wednesday night in Maryland: AIPAC drops another $2.5 million to buy a seat in Congress for big tech lobbyist Adrian Boafo, bringing their total spend to nearly $5.4 million. There's another choice: I don't take money from AIPAC or corporate PACs. Vote by June 23.

Hey Maryland, do you want another data center in your community? Well, that sucks for you, because the political establishment is doing everything possible to buy a seat for Oracle lobbyist Adrian Boafo. Whose interests do you think he'll represent? There's another option: vote for me on June 23.

Thanks to all of our incredible volunteers who are helping us during early voting. We’re so grateful for your time, energy, and commitment to this campaign. Turnout has been light, which means a small number of votes could swing this election in our favor. EVERY VOTE COUNTS! Let's finish strong.

We thank Maryland congressional candidate Harry Jarin for taking the Track Ukraine Pledge. Promising to center Ukrainians in negotiations, support strengthening sanctions, pursue accountability for war criminals, and promising to continue supporting Ukraine with defensive aid.

Hey Maryland, it's a beautiful day to go vote! Early voting is available through June 18, and Election Day is Tuesday, June 23. Make a plan to vote, or just go do it. By all accounts turnout has been quite low so far, and with so many candidates, a few votes could swing the election!

“But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate—we can not consecrate—we can not hallow—this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract.“

In front of the Lincoln Memorial. This.

I voted! Very surreal and humbling to see my own name on a Congressional ballot. No lines here in Edgewater at 7:30am. I was the 1st Democrat (and only the 2nd voter overall) today. To quote one of the very kind volunteers working the polls, "We're so bored!" So, please go liven up their morning.

We’re less than two weeks away from Election Day! Right now, we need all hands on deck to defeat a big tech lobbyist being backed with millions from AIPAC and crypto. Here are three simple ways you can help us win this race.

If elected to Congress, I actually will not wear seersucker or pose for feel-good buddy-buddy photo ops with fascist, white supremacist, or insurrectionist "colleagues." Stop pretending these people are on the same team as we are.

Senator Amy Klobuchar@klobuchar.senate.gov

Happy National Seersucker Day! Great to join my colleagues from both sides of the aisle in kicking off summer with this time-honored tradition.

Mail-in voting is already underway here in Maryland, and early voting starts tomorrow, June 11! When you open up that mail-in ballot or see it during early voting, you're going to see a long list of names for US House District 5. The ballot is alphabetical and I'm right in the middle!

One observation I have about the Dem Party primary in-fighting is that a lot of the political operatives with proximity to the power center of the Dem Party seem to be incredulous as to why Americans organically don't like to support candidates being bribed by right-wing corporations and dark money.

for reference and comparison: conservatively, the United States spent two-thirds of that figure in the *first week* of the war on Iran. it's genuinely difficult to overstate how many world-historical own goals US politics has accumulated over the past few decades

If you live in Maryland’s 5th District, there’s a good chance your mailbox has been overflowing with glossy mailers for Adrian Boafo. We’ve already gotten six at my house! But unless you look closely at the fine print, you might not realize who’s paying for them.

Very hard for most Americans to accept or understand this: our own government is currently waging hybrid war against Denmark (Greenland) and Canada (Alberta) as part of a Russian ploy to subvert NATO and realign international systems for the benefit of a handful of oligarchs.

Rep. McBride: “I assume you’re aware that Greenland is indeed part of Denmark.” Rubio: “For now.”

🚆CALLING ALL NEURODIVERGENT VOTERS OF SOUTHERN MARYLAND🚞 Do you love trains? Well, of course you do! Same here. I'm not officially diagnosed, but my husband says I'm autistic because I force him onto every public transit system we encounter when on vacation. Apparently, that's “a sign.”
