Why do I have to get off the couch and move to my bed again?

Daisy sent the turkeys flying and Max chose an egg to take home to hide. For later, much later.

Many of you are asking how you can help me. My only ask is this: Spread the word about the threats to democracy and how we can fight back. Tell everyone to subscribe to Democracy Docket and share its content. demdock.com/4w6emld

After an earlier fight over who gets to play with teddy, all is well once again. Daisy and Max sleeping in the back of the, their favourite place.

"Laura Loomer Unleashed — famously the show where she ate dog food. As you said, there's always something exciting going on there." Will Sommer and Tim Miller take a look at the latest Laura Loomer-Candace Owens feud.

Resting up for Christmas Day and the family coming, including Ollie the Labrador.

Max found another turkey egg somewhere in the paddock. Yummy!

Starting //// going

Max fought the garden hose valiantly. However, the hose survived to see another day. Don’t give up little man!

How times have changed. 😕

Chicago priest Father Michael Pfleger: "The state of emergency is in AMERICA, not Chicago. It's birthed from this president and his admin's reign of terror." ( ht: @mikenellis.bsky.social )

Never forget about the EPSTEIN files and Tom Homan accepting 50 GRAND from the FBI !!!

🇺🇸NOT SHUTTING UP🇺🇸🇺🇸

As a bookish kid, I admired the Supreme Court for having the character to unanimously come out against segregation in the 1950s, when no other branch of our government would have had that courage. So it saddens me to see it lose its way and endorse judging people for the color of their skin today.

It's 6 PM, and it's not dark yet? It must be almost spring.

Daisy checking Max hides the twig he found properly. Looking good.

I’m waiting for the Gavin NFTs and watches. Can’t afford to buy everything. bsky.app/profile/butt...

A bit frosty on this Waikato morning. Daisy can smell the bunny, but will she find it?

Foreign sausage? Disgusting!

Note to Kristi Noem: It is far better to be mocked in a cartoon for how you look than to be shoved into the back of a U-Haul and kidnapped for how you look.

They Are Running Out Of Sick Minded Recruits…. Now they’ll take on anyone! SMDH🤨🤨

Team work on this morning’s walk. Daisy found the possum (they are a pest in NZ, introduced by European settlers, no predators, an estimated 40 million of them), Max held the tail. I think he is very proud of his contribution. 🙂

A winter sunset today when walking Daisy. She didn’t care.

The first Camellia flowers. Hopefully this wet winter is over soon.

View from our deck last night. Lots of flooded paddocks after heavy rains.

Max beat Daisy to the front seat and is very proud of it, too.

Daisy and her friend Roxy in the early sun today. Daisy heard the bag of treats…

Much excitement! The adults put their walking shoes on!

Found it! After much digging in a drainage pipe, I found it! The perfect twig!

Today was Max 1st Birthday. He loved his ground beef frittata which he shared with Daisy. Not that he wanted to.

A brilliant Banksy.

First nation in! Happy New Year from New Zealand!

Max says “Faster, faster” on his first drive through the countryside. And also wants to turn around and go say hello to the cows.

Meet eight-month-old Max of an unknown breed mix, but I think there is a boxer in his background. Here he is falling asleep after playing with his sister Daisy on the lawn….

Daisy now has a brother from another mother, Max. He is an estimated eight months old and as of now unknown mix of breeds. We’ll see…

Too tired to leave the car coming home from our afternoon walk.

Bedtime at 10pm and Daisy beat me to the bed once more. Only a treat will move her.😊
