Israel is just 2 days away from a critical election, and thousands of protesters are filling the streets of Tel Aviv demanding Netanyahu’s removal! They’re demanding accountability for October 7 security failures and an independent commission of inquiry.

Just to be clear... Prop 40 is a ONE-TIME retroactive tax. It applies ONLY to billionaires and would tax just 5% of their wealth — which grew 30% in 2025. California's billionaires would still be worth $2T+ AFTER the tax. The revenue will fund healthcare for millions of Californians. Vote YES.

I have been asked by many friends why I am so committed to helping elect @davidjolly.bsky.social as the next Governor of Florida. His response to the question asked of him in this interview below explains it. Please watch and then please vote for my friend David Jolly as our next Governor.

I know that serving in elected office means you have an obligation to everybody, not just to your party. That’s why the values I fight for have always been consistent: the economy should work for everybody and everyone’s rights should be protected and their dignity respected.

I’ve been reading about prop 40; I support a wealth tax. I don’t see the claims that opponents are making to be rooted in facts-looks like fear mongering; of course, billionaires are freaking out-if this passes, it sets a precedent, a framework, for future wealth taxes. This article explains.

Why Katie Porter is wrong to be against the California billionaire wealth tax "...the piece was one of the most cynical arguments I’ve seen to date...Before I get into it, I want to explain exactly what Prop 40 is and why we need to pass it..."

Obviously, what he says here is infuriating… And, not that anyone standing behind him ever looks normal by any means, but what is happening with the woman in red? Why is she standing like that? This is so weird.

Trump: "I could've done very bad things to Hillary Clinton. I could've done very very bad things to Joe Biden. I could've done very bad things to Barack Hussein Obama ... I can do whatever I want, if I want."

Go get ‘em AG James 💪🏽

Gov. Hochul: I signed an executive order appointing AG Letitia James as special prosecutor in the sexual assault case at Cornell. She could not have been clearer that she was 100% confident that she had been raped. Those words never made it into the account that Cornell police sent to prosecutors.

That’s why I’m voting yes. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s a start .

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

The arguments you've heard against California's billionaire tax are utter BS. Here to debunk them — and explain why you should vote YES on Prop 40 — is renowned economist @gabrielzucman.bsky.social

This man wants to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate, but every time he’s asked a question, he runs for it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The WNBA is having a moment. Viewership is up. Attendance for this year’s WNBA All-Star Game surpassed the NBA’s All-Star Game. But the stories about the WNBA capturing national attention in recent weeks are about none of that.

Two months ago today, Johan Sebastián Guerrero was murdered by ICE in Biddeford. Susan Collins voted to give ICE $70 billion a month before his killing. ICE needs to be abolished, full stop.

Well, he shouldn’t complain… Sure, he was deported, but at least he got to go back to London. They should’ve sent him to Africa like they’re doing poor people of color

More of this, please … I’m sure a lot of moms and women talk to boys about this, but it hits different when men teach boys about how to be respectful. I love this man. 🥰

Imagine shaking hands with the man you exposed as a pedophile. It’s time to kill off the president’s role in this awards ceremony. Trump grins and throws up his hands repeatedly as the Wall Street Journal receives an award for their coverage of Trump's ties to Jeffrey Epstein

🎯 The major point is that the anti-vaccine misinformation machine is worth millions. Vaccines worked so well that Polio & small pox are dim & distant memories, therefore less compelling. I did not see what it was like to live with those outbreaks or watch people suffer from complications. 🧪

Scott Pelley is leaving, but not before he drops a big stack of receipts on what happened at 60 minutes. It's worse than you could have imagined, and bless this man for fighting as hard as he could and then tearing down the blackout curtains so we could see what's happening inside.

I’m a huge fan of @rhodesben.bsky.social , so I’m biased, but I’m 70 pages into All We Say: the Battle for American Identity, where he compiles 15 speeches from U. S. History that reflect threads of American identity we struggle with today. It’s brilliant! We often hear, “this isn’t who we are”, but

The racism, misogyny, imperialism IS who we are, but Ben also shows us through these speeches, it’s not who we have to be. We are a work in progress and we must listen to history. How might I use this in my writing classes, I wonder 🤔
