By any reasonable interpretation the quasi-military activities of far right groups in Scotland breach the 1936 Public Order Act which was introduced to curtail Oswald Moseley's Blackshirts. If no action is taken, these groups will only be emboldened. weegingerdug.wordpress.com/2026/10/27/t...

So the #BBC has broadcast uninterrupted coverage of extreme-right Anglo-British nationalist politicians and been identified by the UN as routinely providing air cover for Israel and its atrocities in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank. If you have a TV licence you’re facilitating this.

🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 So it turns out that Andy Burnham is just another uber-unionist fundamentalist PM, who believes that it is for him to determine Scotland’s constitutional future, and NOT the people of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇪🇺 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Burnham also states that the (English) “PUBLIC ARE THE BOSSES” to decide on rejoining the EU

Today’s Labour party blaming Thatcher for not creating an oil fund, when it was Labour in government that rejected the creation of such a fund in the 1970s, is disingenuous at best. They daren’t acknowledge the McCrone report or their suppression of its conclusions either.

Torsten Bell@torstenbell.bsky.social

Selling out Britain’s future goes back to Thatcher. Had we invested oil/gas revenues we’d have a fund worth £1 trillion now. Selling off assets at less than they were worth (think council houses/utilities) + spending not investing the proceeds trashed the UK’s balance sheet

It was touching to hear Burnham in his conference say how he valued the unionist views of his late father, over the views of the population of Scotland, where a majority are in support of independence What about an ‘honest conversation’ about Burnham’s denial of constitutional democracy in Scotland?

In 2014 we were told that the only way to stay in the EU was to vote No to independence and stay part of the UK. Instead it took us out against our will. It'll be depressingly ironic if Unionists now start insisting that the only way for Scotland to *rejoin* the EU is to stay part of the UK.
